These f'rs better not take the 2 down, I have a nice DD here and there was not enough to warrant that!

If yesterday is any indication Nick, you might be in some trouble here.

You are not kidding, scared the $hit out of me that they even had the opportunity to look after that crime yesterday!

dagolfer33 05-09-2010 12:41 PM

You are right, but they made a different decision yesterday. And today it would have benefitted me. Cheatin bastards. But I'm glad for Pointman. On to leg 2.

dagolfer33 05-09-2010 12:42 PM

I guess they do allow seeing-eye dogs at Belmont.:zz::wf:rolleyes:

Nick, I'm biased here (cause I had them both in my pick 4, but it burned up my pick 3), but I thought that horse should have definitley came down. The 2 came in 2-3 paths and ended up winning by a nose. He deserved to come down.

Thanks! I can't disagree with you after the BS they pulled yesterday, sorry you got screwed on both ends but there was no reason to take the 2 down here.

Rudy Rodriguez, you can only hope to contain him!

I agree. I think this horse did MORE than the one they took down yesterday. And, I can't seem to win a photo these days. However, this was the correct decision. If I need DQs to get it done, I shouldn't be in it.

Matt, I disagree as the 2 never impeded the 8 from making his run. I believe that both today and yesterday should have both been no action taken. I do admit that I have a bias as to both calls as I had a wagering interest in both the 11 yesterday and the 2 today staying up.

I guess all we really want is consitency. After yesterday, you would think that the 2 would be an automatic take down. Yesterday didn't affect me, but I still thought it was ridiculous. Today affects me and I think I'm more annoyed with them leaving the 8 up based on yesterdays DQ, which is probably not right.
I agree that he didn't impeed the 8 from making his run, but them leaning in 2-3 paths could have cost him first, because he was hangin in there and lost by a nose.
But Congrats on your double any Nick.

Taking a cheap shot. Have the 1 as a single in the pick 4 (probably like the rest of the world).

True, and I had both horses so I was covered in the race. But goddam, this game is hard enough with out having to out fox the stewards.:zz:

Calvin... you can't stop him. Gotta love it when you run 2-3 at 9/2 and 16-1 and get stugatz.

Don't usually bet 9/5 horses but if the 7 stays there for AP R2 when they are loading, $10 to win

......so much for that

Nice job Matty! My 2 didn't run a damn step!

the_fat_man 05-09-2010 02:15 PM

I just have to laugh at Maragh. He's BLOWS the 4th. And, after yesterday's 10th, when he gets an absolutely perfect drafting trip and still can't run down the speed, he turns in this ride: another perfect trip and he can't get the horse into enough of a drive to get past the duelers. I didn't bet this race but this is just comical. Can Rajiv get by a poodle with a perfect trip?

Put the horse in a DRIVE, Rajiv.

Good job on the P4.
