Norberto a no show at court today

No show for sentencing in Saratoga today and is currently a fugitive from the law. Was looking at 2 1/2 years in prison. EDIT: Not a fugitive but currently in jail in Kentucky

Check the bars.

pointman 05-07-2010 11:54 AM

Arroyo has the best excuse one can have for not coming to court, that is he is in jail elsewhere. It sounds like the offense for which he is currently in jail must have occured before he plead guilty in Saratoga and if that is the case it will have no impact on the promise the Judge gave him, that is he will still get the 2 1/2 years. What a shame that he has done this to himself.

You flew into a rage when I made a joke about meds ( fair enough ) but seem to think making fun of trouble people with addictions is OK.

Makes sense.

Does Norberto post here? He likes to drink, I never thought he had a drinking problem. It becomes a problem when you start fights.

He is probably in Arizona protesting how he is being treated.

Oh, so you don't even know why he is supposed to be in court yet compelled to make a smart ass remark.

Sorry, I was confused. I actually thought you knew something about what you were talking about. My apologies.

after reading the article, i can see why they are giving him 2 and 1/2 years. hes a justice system "regular". its not just him though, i can't understand these people that have everything going for them and drugs help them piss it all away. its the horror of addiction.

blackthroatedwind 05-07-2010 01:34 PM

He's sick. I can't imagine he has intentionally ruined his life. It's unfortunate and sad.

The reason Arroyo didn't make his arraignment is that he is in jail in KY as far as I know.

I'm 'sick' too. So are countless others. The difference, however, between the 'sick' and the 'challenged' is that the former remember to strap on their seat belts where required. I can understand being a **** up and having all sorts of addictions but would it have killed the MoFo to put the belt on? Seems to me, he wants to go to jail. They'll take care of him there.

randallscott35 05-07-2010 01:44 PM

PVal made it back. There is hope.

It is exactly that type of stupidity that leads the arrest of a great number of addicts in the first place. You would be amazed at the stupid things that addicts do to attract the attention of the police which ultimately leads to the search and recovery of drugs.

Diver67 05-07-2010 02:00 PM

You might also be surprised at the number of times the police report an unverifiable traffic violation in order to justify a stop and search. "The driver failed to signal a lane change, so I pulled him over."

This is very true as well. Failing to signal a lane change or failing to maintain a lane almost always signal a BS reason to justify the stop. These offenses seem to be particularly incredibly rampant between 1 and 5 a.m. in New York.

Sad state of affairs. Us addicts talk amongst ourselves about our "bottom". Some reach it and surrender. Others have to go out and do more research on a mission for another "bottom".

Hopefully he has found his and is willing to surrender to his addiction. There is hope :tro:

On another note, curious as to whether a convicted felon can ride T-Breds.

Sometimes the Demons win right up to the time we realize that the Demons are not real and we have control of what we do.

Life can be difficult for some.

I'd rather stab myself in the face than go to one of those meetings and be surrounded by 10-20 2min2toast's.

To each his/her own, but I promise you one thing -

I'll keep my eyes and ears open to some surgeons who will be willing to help you after your self inflicted wounds become too much for you to handle alone.

On that note, I tip my hat to you, as you surely stand on a mountain top much higher then most and look down on us;)

You are a real piece of internet message board work:rolleyes:

Well, yeah, since without God's help people would never be able to help themselves out of a mess that God had nothing to do with in the first place.

Speaking of which, in the last few weeks I've developed a habit of thanking God out loud everytime something annoying happens to me.

You know, like having your shirt catch on something, you stub your toe, etc.

I know I am wrong when I say this but I can't help myself, lets just say with open arms I still have character defects. With that said -

Go F... Yourself Coach Pants

I have a damn good memory, even after all the self inflicted wounds. I remember some of the crap you posted on this site directed not only at me but at a loved one of mine, family man.

Screw you. I am so happy right now and am laughing as I type this cause I gotta believe you are a miserable SOB to bring others down the way you do.

With that said I'll say a quick prayer for you and ask my Higher Power to hope you find peace so you don't have to say the things you do. You are obviously not at peace with yourself, your life whatever.

Take care Coach Pants, whatever your name may be,

Curt
