The 2010 edition of Survival at the Shore kicks off Monmouth Park’s Elite Summer Meet! Live racing Friday, Saturday, Sunday PLUS holiday Mondays make 2010 the most exciting meet in Monmouth Park’s 65-year history.

The 2010 edition of Survival at the Shore begins Saturday, May 22. Registration is now open. If you took part in the 2009 edition, you will not need to re-register.

However, you will need to visit www.survivalattheshore.com and login with your credentials from last season. You will then be prompted to accept the 2010 Challenge Rules.

Always a fun contest, no matter how quickly I'm eliminated. :)

With the purses much bigger the quality of the horses should be outstanding.

I got skunked out of the system today. They close the entries far too early, considering scratches weren't up until 12:00! What would be the problem with having it open until 15 MTP before the 1st contest race?

first contest race today and my horse #3 Cosmic Dance, stumbles out of the gate. He's wondeirng what happend but I know wat happened.

I had Allez Reef for the last contet race today and was severly disappointed in the way the race was run

I barely survive to move on to the next contest race

Don't feel bad, I forgot to play on opening day due to a prior tee ball obligation.

How was this contest won last year. Did the winner outlast everyone or did it come down to contest earnings?

I'm wondering the same thing. . . I have a decent rank right now because I've only been using prices. Not sure if I should keep up w/ that strategy or just start trying to survive.

If I recall correctly, last year there were over 100 entries still alive by the end so it comes down to bankroll. Of course it was probably alot easier to stay alive last year as there were typically at least one 6 horse or smaller field in the selections most if not all days.
