it was a slowly run race, but he looks very exciting.. Vale of York never settled. |
yes but with the lack of depth over here he may make the trip no?
|
yeah they will probably send them both presuming they are in decent form. Id like to see them against Musir first in the UAE Derby before I start proclaiming one as a Derby winner.

Speaking of Godolphin's Derby horses, Desert Party is racing for the first time since then just now in Meydan!

I was making a joke related to poor reporting that said it was his synth debut. He broke his maiden first out at Arlington. |

I think he meant UAE Derby. At least he would have been closer. |

Bale of Pork was strangled into submission by the Camal kingpin. His big races in Europe came battling on paces that utterly collapsed with the exception on him. Bringing a fresh horse supposedly short on works back - running 9.5f - and trying to strangle him behind a crawl isn't exactly a recipe for good things. |

Good lord, old chap, grow a sense of humour there, would you? There's no reason to get your colour up and start an arguement. That's a good fellow. ;) |

There's something to be said for predicting a horse would even make it to the starting gate on Derby day off of one race nearly 11 months beforehand. |
He was merely just asking a question as it turns out ... post 90.

I don't put too much stock in Mendip's performance. The 1-2 leaving the frontstretch were 1-2 at the finish, and ran the 9.5 furlongs in 1:59 and change...how he performs over a truer race would be in question.
