This whole fiasco in Dubai is just terrible for racing. Because of this ridiculous Carnival potentially good horses disappear from the US and enter the abyss. They virtually never go forward from the time they were purchased and typically are retired. It's a joke of a meet meant to entertain a super wealthy family without any value to the industry, unless you are lucky enough to pitch your horse to the blackhole Deaddolphin has become. Is Tam Lin running again tomorrow?

Why?

Since the only US horses over there are Maktoum horses and folks always seem to get upset when they win everything here, everyone should be happy that they are holding the Carnival. Apart from the DWC card, there won't likely be a US based owner's name on the program at Meydan.

Look.... if Itsallabouthtechase, Santana Strings, Crown Point or Exceptional Ride were running I'd want to know. :eek:

Minefield was a lot more popular than any of these guys so I'm just trying to be nice by giving a heads up cause I know not everyone follows Dubai. If any of the ones I listed were running I know someone would let me know.
