Hey..he disclosed it before..just no one figured he had a chance so it was ignored. His ad campaign was brilliant, although I really hope he just goes away.

Now the guy's ex-wife is coming to his side saying he injected anabolic steroids and beat her while they were married but now he's a 'changed' man. I believe he's a perfect running mate for Quinn in the general election. After all isn't the current theme of the Dem party Change and Hope? As in, "hope he changed and don't beat anymore women?" And not that long ago we had a female alderman who ended up in jail for crimes after it was discovered she was living w/a gang leader and another female alderman who packed heat in her purse while on the floor and showed it during an arguement. Despite the fact that in Chicago a hand gun is illegal EVEN IN YOUR HOUSE no charges were filed against this maniac once known as the "mad hatter". Gotta love IL politics!

That's what makes you and Spencer different from me. Although all people are created equal in my mind once they hit puberty they are not and can be 'judged' in the way of actions. Just as a junk car in an accident is not equal to a mint car so is a whore to the other. IMO

Riot, under the new Obama health care plan the librarian and husband will undoubtedly supplement the cost of insurance for the prostitute so now if both the women show up at the same emergency room in the middle of the night, complaining of severe abdominal pain, with only one physician available, who gets treated first?

Both are EQUALLY wrong. Do you also feel that you are better than people who struggle with addiction? Are you worth more to humanity than someone who is unemployed and homeless? Do you think that black people are unequal to white people?

His withdrawl announcement was beyond strange.
I don't know the details, but it looked like they had the whole family sitting around a table at a pizza place. Cohen was crying and some kid who I assume is his son was absolutely weeping. It had a really odd vibe to it.

What if someone had been a prostitute for a few months but than stopped and hadn't engaged in the activity for a number of years. In your mind, would stabbing her be less acceptable than stabbing an active prostitute, but still more acceptable than stabbing a woman who had never been a prostitute?
Or what about a non-prostitute librarian who occasionally pockets the late fees that people pay? Does she still rank above the prostitute? What if she spends that money she steals from the library on pot? Or what if she donates it to charity?
Man this gets complicated.
It almost seems like.....it might not be so easy to simply put labels on people's worth.

Like I said, I don't support him or anything he did in the past, but when elections get overturned by the mob it sets a bad precedent. All of this energy should have been put into beating him at the ballot.

what's very strange is the fact the clear cut runner-up Art Turner is getting no mention and instead the Dem party, namely (Maddigan / Mel / Quinn) will decide who they want as 'they' apparantly outrank the vote and as usual 'know better'. If this were the other party racism (Turner is African American) would be the cry everywhere. Was Cohen a fall-guy all along?

The whole process by how the Lt Guv is selected is messed up to begin with. I read the history on how it came to be, but still don't think it's fair to the Governor to have a Lt Gov selected for him.
