The "Let's just laugh unabashedly at Sarah Palin" mean thread

she's no Jimmy Carter and lacks both his deep understanding and imbreeding! And the Lord knows she didn't create the internet nor shuck corn in the lobby of the Mayflower in DC. Only Al Gore can do that. But she can surely give advice on women's health by example if nothing else. PS Kids should never be a reason for being/appearing pig-like. |

no offense but you dont think Palin is misguided, power-hungry opportunist who deserves it? She's the worst thing that happened to the Republican party since Bush decided to invade Iraq. |
This poll reminded me that I still need to see A Clockwork Orange.

The one's who come from societies that want homosexuals killed and friends of homosexuals jailed or are you just talking about South Africa? Keep reading your Carter books and his blaming Israel for being "the worse perpetrator of human rights violations on earth". He gets it! :D . Apparantly ole Jimmy has a problem with gays. No worries though in his peanut brain a gasoline filled tire, lit on fire, around someones neck is better than say creating a Jewish settlement. :zz: |

How do you extrapolate that I suport violence against women from my statement "Coach you out done yourself" ? I was referring to coaches shock value. If I were in the bar I would have broken a chair over that guys head after seeing something like that. I await your apology. Regards |

I agree with Palin's assessment that the forum would be a determining factor if she were to consider debating lying Al. Why is is laughable?

BTW, when Palin was Governor of Alaska, she said climate change is real, dangerous, man absolutely contributes to it, it's an immediate threat to Alaska and the world that needed to be addressed, and she favored cap and trade. |
Quote:
she also thinks the earth is only a couple thousand years old and that you can pray gay away. you really want to think that her saying it's real is a feather in your cap? |

So, did anybody watch Sarah in her new role on Fox?
She seemed terrified of Bill O'Reilly, but seemed to know he wouldn't hurt her - but Glenn Beck seemed to scare her. You could see, when he said things she didn't like - watch her face change from fear, to anger, to confusion  But the most interesting thing was ... watching the Beck hour interview, I don't think she's gonna be able to handle even this. She talks in soundbites like she's still a beauty pagent queen, without really saying anything. She really can't seem to follow a topic, answer a question specifically, still doesn't seem to know who people or issues are ... Glen Beck knows what he's doing this gig, he knows what his stage persona is - Palin appears constantly baffled. Very strange. I don't think she'll be able to make it even in this "safe" world. Anybody else see this? |

Compared to her Glenn Beck showing, I think the Katie Couric interview is turning out to be the highlight of Palin's career.
Glenn Beck: "So, what Founding Father is your favorite, Governor?" Palin: "Oh ... you know .... um ... ah .... all of them, Glenn". |
Sarah Palin's answers written on her hand
I watched Sarah's Tea Party speech yesterday. It was good, but generally the same old nebulous "conservative values" without specifics she always delivered.
During the question and answer that followed, it appeared she was looking at notes on her hand to answer the question, "What would you do if elected President, your priorities?" Appears that yes, in addition to her third goal of making sure our nation was a religious one under her Christian God, "green energy" and "tax cuts" are important, too - it's written right there on her left hand :) Pictures of her looking at her hand for the answers, and the answers written on her hand: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/stefan..._b_452458.html Now, the real fun hypocrisy in this, is that in the speech before the Q & A, Palin mocked Obama for using a teleprompter. Maybe Obama should just write notes on his hand for Q & A sessions, like Palin. You know, like for the 90-minute one he had with Republicans where he spoke, gave out accurate figures, and was intensely knowledgable with no notes or teleprompter in sight. Sarah also told Fox News it's okay for Rush Limbaugh to call people retarded on the radio, repeatedly, but if Rahm Emanuel does it in private it's a firing offense, as it insults her retarded baby. And yeah - she's interested in President 2012! Geesh, I hope she runs! And no, Chuck, that's not "hate", that's hysterical laughter you hear .... <vbg> Go Indianapolis! |
