The check is most likely in the mail:D

slotdirt 10-09-2009 10:24 AM

The article conveniently omits Lo Duca's stint with the Washington Nationals.

He took over in LA following Piazza and had one borderline good season. Joe Mauer he was not.

MISTERGEE 10-09-2009 11:01 AM

Might be good not to be God's gift to baseball. If you're too good, after you die they take your head out of the freezer and whack it with a wrench apparently.

randallscott35 10-09-2009 11:03 AM

He was a scummy guy when he played for the Mets. Also a Balco user.

XIIPointStables 10-09-2009 11:19 AM

If he stopped appearing on TVG with bad picks and stale analysis, maybe he'd have time to pay the farm.

Being down there, at this time of night, well, it has to be priceless. Plus, it has to be below 40 degrees right now, as it is 45 in the burbs

Just going for Klink's race on that Friday afternoon was scary enough in itself, that was with $1 hotdogs and $2 Beers, brought out the best in everyone

Now if they did something like this at Arlington, they would get 30-40k on a Friday night

I know, I was called and asked if I wanted to roll down there, I respectfully declined.

The Chicago tracks should do free full contact lap dances from their hot female tv analysts.

It will bring in more people ... people who will probably actually gamble ... and it will justify the hiring of poor female analysts as good business decisions.

If we are rating who would give a better lap dance, I would most definitely go with Jessica Pacheco over Mikalay. We could put some trainers in there like this french guys daughter if you wanted. She would be ridiculous as a stripper.

Most definitely. Mikalay has that peppy goofball attitude and Pacheco acts like she lost her soul last spring on the way to Arlington.

Is it peppy goofball or ditzy? I'd go with ditzy.

Pacheco walks around Arlington like the Queen Bee, there is this group of old dudes that talk to her after EVERY SINGLE TIME she does the paddock report. She has this 'strut' that just seems a bit off, a friend of mine thinks she has a wooden leg.

I live in Pittsburgh but have never stated I was a Pirate fan. PNC Park is a great ball park though.
