I thought it was about 98% to come down ... but I'm certainly not a fan of DQ'ing horses ... especially when I believe it's very clear they would have won.
Hate to see situations like that ... as it's very doubtful Mushka was going by. Trouble in the stretch like that is significantly overrated... and the stretch run is where the overwhelming majority of DQ's occur. |
I watched this on ESPN and from my stanpoint, albeit vigin compared to the decades on this board, etc................
Even if the jock is not responsible you gotta do the right thing and who is to say if Kent and his mount could not get by with a clear trip? That horse went RIGHT in a hurry. |
