Injured, SINCE SATURDAY, and likely finished is the rumor...

Cause they like to see how many people on internet chatboards are dumb enough to believe trainers when they announce plans. And some people really wonder why racing has a hard time publicizing matchups ahead of time.

This is a goofy statement implying they were never running in the Spinster to begin with. I doubt that... it's probably more of a why run on synths now when we can run for $2 million down the road. Or, something is a little off or whatever else it can be.

That wasn't my intent. It was more about how people get all excited about races ahead of time about where a horse is going when in this game, that's kind of silly to do because things change so fast.

Gotcha, and you're right. Horse racing will never win promoting horse's as starts day-in and day-out... the only constant are jocks/trainers... and announcers!

That's the point... Had she run Saturday in the Beldame like she was supposed to, this wouldn't have happened.

That said, it's only a rumor that her career is over right now... I haven't tried to call Wolfson who will be besides himself if she is in fact finished.

That's the way it appears. Yes. Not 'because she didn't run on the 3rd' per se, but however it occurred, she apparently got hurt doing whatever she was doing which she wouldn't have been doing had she run in the Beldame... Is what I was conveying... Poorly.

And couldn't she have injured herself in the race had she run?

I'm just lost on how her change of plans can be the cause of injury...

It certainly is not the cause of the injury, but it is an effect of not racing the day before.

She's waiting for that perfect spot to get her 120 Beyer going 10f. Patience, people.

The latest rumor is that she bled in a workout and they don't want her on the bleeder's list. That would explain the hush-hush nature of all this.

Pull her from the gene pool, she bled.

Now he must really regret just keeping the horse in NY to run in the Beldame against Music Note, over a surface she thrives on versus trying "the experiment" of synthetcis and having to ship the horse down to Calder. What a process and oh did it ever back fire!!!!
