Top 10
This is a crazy college season so far. Just curious to see how others would vote if they had one for the current top 10 teams. Mine would be:
1. Texas 2. Florida 3. Alabama 4. Oklahoma 5. Va. Tech 6. Houston 7. USC 8. Oregon 9. LSU 10. Miami Before anyone laughs or riducules this, try your own and see how hard it is. First thing I'm sure people will wonder is how Oregon is ahead of Boise St.? Try your own. |
1. Florida
2. Alabama 3. Boise St 4. Texas 5. Iowa 6. Virginia Tech 7. Cincinnati 8. TCU 9. Oregon 10. LSU |
|
1. Florida
2. Alabama 3. Notre Dame 4. Army 5. TCU 6. SUNY-Albany 7. Temple 8. Texas 9. Arizona 10. Boise St |

I'm okay with this. I could see Iowa going far. And Cinci is a good team. |
There's always gotta be one.

Florida
Texas Alabama USC Oklahoma Boise St TCU Va Tech Iowa LSU |

And Temple 7th? They just smoked SUNY Buffalo. That has to be good for top 5, at least. |

overrated something fierce. |

They will beat Michigan. Michigan State really isnt all that good. WI and OSU will be tough. I think thier only loss will be OSU. |

nd has Got to be the WORST 4-1 team in the country!! geeeez.

At least UNC's offense had a stellar performance today:wf :o |

nd is playing mediocre teams at best and barely getting by. VT's defense is legit. |
not trying to redboard or play monday morning qb, but those of ya'll who had houston in the top 10 need to have your head examined.... 1 win over a top 10 team, and they get vaulted into the top 10.... mmmmmk

must have overlooked your list on here.... |

not that it matters but fla tex bama bsu lsu vt ok usc tcu osu cinci iowa --- outside looking in Houston wasn't considered a powerhouse this season, so i don't know why the pollsters thrust them into the top 15 with their win over OKSU. They beat TT (non-ranked) by 1 point and throttled northwesteast south state, so a previously unranked team is now justified being put in the top 15? pollsters just ran a little too much with this team -bt- |

northern iowa to kick off the season as well, but that being said, it wouldn't be a complete shock if they're in the rose bowl -bt- |

Will the Trojans make your list after they whack ND in a couple weeks, Cannon?

only 2 ranked team left on the schedule for them (home against Meeeeshegan, @ OSU) on a bigger bag of sh!t note, VT jumps BSU after taking down powerhouse Duke:rolleyes: -bt- |
two good sec matchups this week
we will find out a lot about ole miss and lsu ole miss will have a chance to erase the bad loss over usc - houston nutt as an underdog has always been a better play than when he was favorite , saban will have bama ready to go it s/b a good game inital thought ole miss + the points Lsu and Florida - Lsu getting 9.5 points at home in a night game? hard to believe isn't it ? Is this line too high ? Florida is coming off a bye week , LSU was all out in the 2nd half against UGA - schedule not favorable to them here as they face a fresh gator team with Tebow getting 13 days to recover from the head injury , initial thought - lay the 9.5 with the gators |
Alabama will not lose to Ole Siss.

Miami is a top 5-7 team... Losing at Va Tech is nothing to be ashamed of. I know they tossed in a total clunker, but they rebounded well. They will be favorites in every game from now on and should run the table.

FL lost a spot by not playing? |

tebow didn't practice again today. i'm not so sure he plays this wknd. we all know concussions can take quite some time to recover from. but i'd rather he was able to play. at any rate, i hope i enjoy the tigers vs the gators this wknd. i think lsu started looking too far ahead at the half. they absolutely manhandled georgia in the first half, holding them to just one first down. |
Quote:
tebow will play. "they" say he's feeling fine.. no headache's.. have a feeling FL will play this one out til gametime so LSU has to prepare for two VERY different QB's. |
Quote:
they said on saturday he was still having headaches. who knows? |
Quote:
The general consences in the Gainsville area is "no headaches". |

don't forget Miami beat OU without their starting QB every week in college fb brings suprises and i just don't believe that this 'bama team will go undeafeated , they can still win a bcs title in jan , but i don't think they go unbeaten , better to get the loss out early than late ---we shall see |
