Marty Wolfson strikes again.

108 Beyer out of a mare he claimed 3 months ago.

Noticed the Anti-steroid/drug Barry Irwin has given MW some horses.

The Indomitable DrugS 07-27-2009 08:47 AM

Barry Irwin is amusing.

To his credit, the track was a mess and Put it Back's explode on the slop, sure her new shoes helped the process also

The Indomitable DrugS 07-27-2009 09:09 AM

Well - it was her 14th career try on a wet racetrack ... and in her prior 13 tries her career best wet track Beyer was an 86.

I guess you've uncovered a new breeding angle for betting purposes?

Put it Back offspring making their 14th start over a wet track?

Sadly, Marty improved this one off of Bruce Brown ... not TFM favorite Chad Brown.

I didn't look at the PP's but I assumed it was her first start over it, probably pretty stupid assumption since I think she has raced down there for a while.

Trying to give ole Marty the benefit of the doubt....

I think Stardom Bound still holds the mark for slowest Grade 1 stakes win in '09 with her 85 in the Las Verginies. Happy Moon can feel good about that.

Did they bump that one up when they adjusted the synthetic figures? Or is it just high figures that got bumped up?

The Indomitable DrugS 07-27-2009 10:48 AM

It got bumped up from an 84.

King Glorious 07-27-2009 12:10 PM

Before we just assume that Wolfson did anything illegal with this horse, we should check with the dentist first and see what kind of mouth work was done. Apparently, a good brushing and flossing can be worth 10-15 Beyer points.

randallscott35 07-27-2009 12:15 PM

Can we look forward to Kicken N Screamin at the Spa?

The Indomitable DrugS 07-27-2009 12:21 PM

Have they started writing open $7,500 claimers on the turf?

Gutsy winner, was surprised when I saw the owner on the board as Dee Tee Stables, also surprised there was no thread about the horse on here, I personally have no idea when dt horses are racing. But I dont think they will put a horse with 5cl on his card at Saratoga.

Linny 07-27-2009 12:25 PM

The CCAO was won by FUNNY Moon, but the name change doesn't make her any faster...

Do you ever look at the Dee Tee forums on this site?

That's probably my fault... I don't talk about the Stable enough on the radio or send out enough Emails and updates on here or facebook and twitter.

I know it wasn't a G1, but did anyone catch Crispy Noodle's stake winning Beyer Speed Figure?

A WHOPPING 29...and he won by 9½ lengths.

Sorry, dont follow you that closely, I pop on here once and a while to check the goings on around the racetracks and listen to your show for the calls of Toga in August thats about it. Also any person that is not on here religiously and went to the DeeTee Stable thread would have no idea what you guys are talking about with abbreviations of horses names, no race numbers it all very vague. I thought with a bunch of you in on these horses, maybe a front page thread would be in order. I guess its not that important to the average reader that KNS? had a gutsy victory. Its kinda hidden on the back burner.

Coach Pants 07-28-2009 10:16 AM

Yeah Steve you need a big flash banner with results of DT runners.

I think a lot of us do our best to not talk about it on the main threads too much so that there isn't a backlash against our horses from the people who aren't in the partnership.

MISTERGEE 07-28-2009 10:17 AM

Wolfson did not do that good in the Jessica Is Back race. Only came 1st 2nd, and 4th. On a sidenote Jessica # without the variant is an 81 so does 108 sound right?

kgar311 07-28-2009 10:19 AM

Or maybe a sticky with the entries of the races the horses are in. Id like to root but as a once and a while reader I not going to go digging to find out when these horses are going to race.

The track was producing extremely slow times all day long.

Why would people hate against your horses? I think its great that you guys got together to do this. I was actually around when this was first being talked about and for you guys to get it off the ground and have horses winning is awesome. The damn stable is named after and headed by the guy that runs the website. If people dont like it screw them.

drf.com has a stable mail service where they will notify you by email of w/o's and entries. Invaluable when waiting for a horse to race back. Free by providing an email. Go to tools then watches to get there.

true, slow times but almost all cheap races, maiden claimers and cheapclaimers, except for race right before where honeyhoneyhoney won optional 50K in not a bad time except for unusual last 1/8 in 14 sec

Can you stop talking about it? I'm starting to hate KNS because you won't stop talking about her.
