Steve, I'm 100% in agreement with you on the Transylvania. I expect Skipadate to run a big one and the others underneath as well. It would be a nice way to kickoff the weekend.

atolunch 04-03-2009 07:36 AM

Steve, please double check me, think Florentino is the #5 in the Transylvania, not the #6.

BOL with your plays!!

Steve, **** load of rain down here today, it has stopped now but it was pouring this morning at 6-7am-ish....

Never noticed (LA) in the late changes before - any ideas? both were already listed Lasix

swedejxn 04-03-2009 11:01 AM

If it does come off turf.... stormalory still a heavy favorite... but orthodox looks enticing depending on scratches....

in kentucky they define lasix as (L) lasix or (LA) lasix adjunct.

think he won the photo for second... nice big blaze on the face like dad. thought he was an underlay at 9/2.
wesley ward wins a 2yo race at keeneland, there's a shocker  why do they bother to run these races!

The photos were for 3rd and beyond. The Ramsey-Maker was well seperated from the rest of the field.

hoovesupsideyourhead 04-03-2009 01:10 PM

that horse was a rocket..

booner 04-03-2009 01:35 PM

Wesley Ward horse wins the 4th - 4/5 fav......

TVG folks keep talking about a speed bias. I don't see it. 3 clear leaders the first 3 races. The winner in the 4th towered over the field and the other who dueled for the lead faded bad.

I know it's early, but seems pretty fair to me so far. Have I judged something wrong?

Hate that the 7 scratched out of the 6th race. Don't like the early favorite, gonna play a 1,4,10 box (originally posted the 3 by mistake - don't want her)

I told Thebby I've never seen a horse's legs move so fast. He ran like he had 6 legs.

philcski 04-03-2009 02:40 PM

finally the tote blows up a bit in the 6th... like the way the track is playing though, seems to be fair to all comers.

Suffolk Shippers 04-03-2009 02:44 PM

I thought this was a solid P4 sequence, well carded. Here's what I'm going with:

R7: 3-6-8
R8: 10-11
R9: 1-2-5-8
R10: 1-9-11

$72

philcski 04-03-2009 02:52 PM

I like the 7 in here a bit.

ouch
good cappin though

Kasept 04-03-2009 04:44 PM

Nice that the Racing Form failed to have the correct minimum of the P4's at KEE... My own fault for not going to the KEE website and checking but I wouldn't have thought DRF would have it wrong. Didn't recall KEE having a .50 minimum.

booner 04-03-2009 04:49 PM

The minimum for the Pick 4 isn't listed on Brisnet's, either. Odd, since they have the minimum for the tri (.50) and super (.10)..........

boo,

Heard from a listener via Email that Xpressbet didn't have it correct in their wagering menu either. Sounds like the info wasn't sent out. Very frustrating.

This their third or fourth meeting with the $0.50 P4 (I'm sure they had it last spring, possibly '07 fall). I believe they were the first track to offer it.

twinspires did have it on their wagering menu, though (almost tempted to play, but thank goodness I passed)......

I noticed that when I logged on to make my play. I was tempted to revoke and revise, but I stuck with what I had and the $1 base. Despite the loss, I didn't like Tweeter in the last. Good news is, like baseball, we can go back at it tomorrow.

Heels1989 04-04-2009 01:55 PM

Follow up on the Keeneland $.50 P4 option on Xpressbet. The header for today's Race 7 still does not indicate "min $.50." But if you go to Wager on the P4, the $.50 option is available.
