Best of Luck!!

The dam of Col Klink quite famously was on her way to an easy win at 20/1 - until she had an encounter with the Sportsman's Park rail in deep stretch. A legendary tough betting beat for sure. I think it was also as a 2nd time starter as well.

However, the bettors of her that day got rewarded with a juicy 8/5 when she made her next start a month or so later and won by like 20.

jwkniska 03-09-2009 09:47 PM

Good luck to all involved!

I have to try and take some shots also!! I will be there with bells on....ok, maybe not bells, but I will be very happy to be there. :D I was very lucky last year, I got some great shots with Baffert, Assmussen,Neil Howard,Dan Hendricks and Eric Guillot, and each of them were very nice. Also got some great shots of Daytona after he won, with his head in Dans lap. It was a very sweet shot, I must say. I will be bringing a good friends 18 yr old daughter who is totally in love with all things horse so it should be a very fun day.

I purposely avoided that post, thought our friend Drugs would pounce all over it.

There might not be anything better then a good looking 18 year old girl that likes horse racing :)

Bummer about the weather, I'll have to put away the pom-poms for another day.

TheSpyder 03-14-2009 12:16 PM

Can someone give us a list of horses and their races. Really want to route with these.

I see a Colonial Klink at FG in the 11th but says trainer is Richard Scherer? It does say it's owned by the famoud Bob Gary racing though so I guess that's it

Good luck to all!

yeah, that's him. i think scherer is listed as trainer since he's taking care of CK while he's in louisiana.

He actually is already in, the racing office failed to exclude a non-preferred horse (I think it is the 3 Actual Fact but I am not sure how that all works) and he is definitely in. Stroke of good luck.

alot tougher field than Sunday though but at least he is running

Looks like the weather is suppose to be nice also, and I also think we get to fade Campbell since he is named to the 4 so hoping for Cisco
