Brian Spencer-Otto's Lotto
Great job Steve giving the space on DT's home page to a wonderful read penned by Brian Spencer on the background of an otherwise forgettable maiden. It really brings home the truth that behind every horse there is a story. Unfortunately, all horses don't have connections as caring as Otto's Lotto, but she has at least one new fan next time she runs.

Hey Brian - nice article. Keep us updated on Ottos Lotto's exploits. While she might not be lighting up any tote boards it sounds like she is in good hands and will have a good home. Thanks

Why would she want to breed this animal? It sounds ridiculous to have more of these running around.

When it was all said and done, I think I found the connections far more interesting and found the way they feel about her far more interesting than the horse herself. |
wow Brian, very nicely done, capturing many of the sports emotions.
I love that style, of delving in deeply to the seemingly mundane details. well done indeed. |
