Sure Zig.. It's predicated somewhat on being able to string together free PP's which helps get some involved who don't have wide info access or aren't necessarily playing on a given day.

But it's clear people are enjoying the effort and getting good experience being 'forced' to think about structure and approach of multi-race wagers.

i'll certainly pony up for pp's if that will help. but i'm not sure that drf or whomever would appreciate one person buying and then posting for everyone...is that allowed?

Uh.. no. We get them from the trainer or stable websites that publish them.

I agree totally. Before joining this site, I had never constructed a back-up ticket. Because of what I learned on here and through recommended reading I was able to be one of several winners of the contest with a $16. back-up ticket. Thanks for the time and effort the true handicappers put in to help the rest of us get better.

Aqueduct late pk4:

6- 1,2,6
7- 1,5,7
8- 1,3,6
9- 1,3,6

Here is to hoping it doesn't chalk out.

I think Maragh just blew a win on the 7 in the 4th with a premature move to the lead, think he wins this if he waits for the right moment.

Aqueduct 9th - #11?

Anyone have thoughts about horses shipping in from Penn and running on the inner? The #11 Empty Wallet had 2 bullet works before being shipped in for this???

pmacdaddy 02-08-2009 02:17 PM

I beleive the Aqueduct early pk4 paid 6 times the parlay. Definitely an upside to the pk4 wager in general.

Not only is he shipping in from Penn, but the trainer is 1 for 12 on firsters. Not for me.

MISTERGEE 02-08-2009 02:25 PM

doe Goodson deserve to be 15-1 in race 8 ?

He's 2 for 49, with a 0.24 ROI, over the last five years.

This horse's half brother, Personal Shopper, ran very well in his debut on the inner, at 10:1, for the same trainer last year.

No, he should be 150:1.

I actually put in a typo, 0 for 12 on the firsters actually, I am guessing you are saying if he takes money he may be live.

Big A pick 6 is a carryover to all but the 3 here. This 2 is taking some money for a trainer that is not showing a high percentage of first out winners in the form.

2MinsToPost 02-08-2009 04:10 PM

Race 9 at Gulf I took a stab at the Chad Brown entry Quiet Meadow. Lezcano up, blinkers on. Obviously question marks but hey thats why its called gambling and I love the odds.
