Super Bowl XLIII predictions
Let's get it started early....
The NFL's #1 defense versus the high powered Cardinal offense, the experience of Kurt Warner in "big" games versus the toughness of the Steeler's QB Big Ben, the Cardinals are a new team since the playoffs with a complete turnaround, the Steelers keep you on the "edge of your seat" in all the games they play. Defense wins big games (remember Tampa Bay over the Raiders a few years back?) and frankly, I'm sick off everybody jumping on the Cardinals bandwagon! I haven't forgotten thier games this year versus the Jets, Vikings and Patriots....I guess everybody else has. The "Redbirds" face thier toughest team yet...... STEELERS 28 CARDINALS 17 |
as a Steelers fan i'd like to see:
Pittsburgh 24 arizona 10 But i have a BAD feeling.:( |
Arizona 27
Pittsburgh 24 Very tough game to read as well as get excited about. I think the key will be injuries in the game. |
Pitt 34
AZ 23 |
AZ 23
Pitt 20 |
AZ 31
Pitt 28 |
I am hoping for
Kurt Warner 57 Pittsburgh 20 realistically the Cardinals defense will make it look like Pittsburgh has a great offense. Too much pressure on Kurt and the O line with zero chance of a running game. That dirty hippie running around being a ball hawk will make life tough for Kurt he has lost a little over the years. But if the Steelers don't cheat like a certain other team... it will be close. |
pitt 34 az 20
|
How about this for a stat. Big Ben 121 Passer rating on 3rd down. Its warm weather. Go Zona!!!
|
Pittsburgh 50 Arizona 0

I rarely feel that strongly about pro football but for the newly minted Cards fans I think you have missed the wedding and are attending the funeral.

I don't see the Cardinals defense getting it done. Maybe they won't have to but I don't see it
|
Cards 20
Steelers 11 For block pool sake. I really like the under in this one. My real prediction is Cards 27- Stillers 17 |
I'm pretty sure this is chicago-ne circa 1985.
pittsburgh is chicago in the analogy. |
Bigs 25
Chicken Wings 0 |
Need a weird score
Steelers 39 Cards 22 I'll be rooting for the Cards.....but the all-time mush laid money on the Cards to win the Super Bowl. Thats what the Cards will be up against. THANKS JERRY! |

Cardinals 13 Yeah, we can. A Cardinals victory and reward to the Bidwells would be a worse slap in the face to a Brown fan than yet another Steeler super bowl. I simply cannot hope the Cardinals win the Super Bowl. You could argue the Bidwells are the worst owners in pro sports. It's just the Super Bowl, my guess is they'll play the stupid thing again next year regardless. |

I predict a Steeler victory will make their fans even more obnoxious than they already are. (I know, it seems impossible)

what a way to enter the half. huge momentum shift in the steelers favor.
maybe by the start of the 3rd, that linebacker will have his wind back. |
Too bad for Cards and Warner...Great game tho....
|
AZ hung in there tough, great game, Pitt needs some guards, Cromarite- Rodgers should get voted a winners share by Pitt
|
at least they made it a game no huddle should have gone up early.. they covered:D :$:
|
It reminded me alot of the Titans Rams SB. The first half sucking and the 2nd half being unbelievable. Was that the most penalized game ever in the SB? I have to give the Cards alot of credit, they hung in there when they could have just folded up shop. I never thought that they were even going to be in this game, and they were one defensive play away from winning it.
Congrats to the Steelers and their fans. |
No dog in the fight, but all year long I've seen incomplete called on any reception that the ball touched the ground at any point. And that last fumble call ... are you serious?
At least be consistant. |
