He grew up in a white household, white mom and grandparents. Daddy from Kenya was not like typical blacks he would encounter when not in Hawaii(yet another quirky thing that is very atypical of the African -American community)

It brings up weird questions of racial traits. From which part of his upringing and genes can we expect Barack to have been most formative?

A better question, and more important by far, is "Do you think our president is a socialist?"

The answer to that question is much more likely to affect your rights, prosperity, and way of life.

I consider him our first Black President and embrace the change. Just so happens that I am around some people, family and friends, who don't see it that way. They think that because he did not come from a Black Mother that it "changes" him in some way. Just wanted to get a broader scope is all. While I disagree with some of his policies, I am very excited to watch his Presidency evolve.
