FINAL VOTE: Point Given gelding = "Run Burgundy"

Here's the finals with 'The Red Monkey' out of the running.. ;)

You CAN vote for more than one, but try to limit it to your favorite 2-3...

miraja2 01-06-2009 09:57 AM

Run Burgundy is a GREAT name.

joeydb 01-06-2009 10:04 AM

Since my two didn't make the final cut, I am going with "Point Rouge" and "Run Burgundy".

dellinger63 01-06-2009 10:11 AM

had to go with Redboard

robfla 01-06-2009 10:51 AM

why is the red monkey out of running?

GPK 01-06-2009 10:55 AM

I think "Last Post" should be added as a write in option.

I'll never understand why Shouldapulledout wasn't an option.

I do like the idea of using "tilt" since that's his barn name.....but it is hard to get away from Run Burgundy.

The Fun Won ...day late and a dollar short :)

GPK 01-06-2009 11:49 AM

The good news is all of these names are better than the first time starter in the 7th at Tampa tomorrow.

Go Tebow Go

Hey now wait a minute...that's a good name, was one of my best catahoula dogs...seriously...but it was spelled right for a cajun/creole dog..Tee Beau...:p

I really like Redboard...but am going to have to go with I laughed....it made me laugh...:D

ninetoone 01-06-2009 12:17 PM

Had to go w/Run Burgundy. That's pretty strong.

ddthetide 01-06-2009 12:57 PM

Point Rouge or Rallydar :(

SniperSB23 01-06-2009 01:21 PM

Voted before I read Run Burgundy. So add another vote for that one.

That's why they made those stick figure illustrations outside of restrooms.

Guess the semis and the finals in this work like the NFL playoffs when you get through the wild card round and suddenly new teams that didn't play in that round show up.

Need another round, or it's gunna be Clinton '92 all over again. They've been complaining for over 15 years that he didn't get a majority. They gunna stand for it this time?

Surprised Mike Pegram hasn't already used it ....

Merlinsky 01-06-2009 04:28 PM

I don't get how we can vote for more than one on the poll, I wanted to do both I Laughed and Run Burgundy which, I have to say, is brilliant. Only my I Laughed one was counted. Can we not narrow it further to 3 before a "final" vote? There's a lot getting spread around. You can argue more than 50% don't like whatever ends up winning in a couple days.

TheSpyder 01-06-2009 04:42 PM

I really can't believe anyone can complain about the voting or nominations. Did Steve even have to do this in the first place...no, he thought he'd have some fun and allow us to play a small role.

So, let's have a little fun and when the horse wins we can say we helped name it.

Spyder

Hey, wait a minute...Steve, can you name it "Spyder"? Yea, that's the ticket, oh wait, how about "That's the Ticket"

GPK 01-06-2009 04:45 PM

Duh....if there is no letter minimum it has to be named GFY:)

Well, the three most popular are obvious..

I have to admit, that "Run Burgundy" is clever and makes a lot of sense for the Point Given given the dam.

We can use "Redboard" for one of the Smarty Jones colts as they are both chestnuts, and "I Laughed" can be used elsewhere as well..
