Been off work since 2:30 and I didn't look at the first 4 races or the 6th.

You'll get a price here. This race is beyond wide open. That said, Kimmel's piece will probably romp at 8-5. :o

I'll be going a bit deep in my P3 as I really like Filemon/Scace's Mucho Dinero in the 4th. I'm sure he'll be the chalk and I am also sure he will win. I will be singling....

Bigsmc 12-22-2008 07:11 PM

Off topic. Suzy Kolber looks like a purple popsicle. She can barely speak.

GPK 12-22-2008 07:13 PM

Bigs, is that a CC Yang sighting in the 2nd?!?!?

Early DD

If you like a horse that wants the lead and are running against a Chin Yang ridden beast, you will have to work to get to the front.

Do you see who was aboard the 1 for his last victory?

Cardoso...but I see Yang won with him too:D

My bad. Didn't see the Cardoso win. That's a good horse that can win with those two on his back.

The 7th is ugly. Not too many wins for many of these lately. 5,6,7,8, & 10 are 0 for 2008.

The 2 is going to get tired carrying the "claim me" sign.

Yuck, these horses have seen better days.

GPK 12-22-2008 07:36 PM

You think Bontempi is a play against in the 7th?? The drop really concerns me.

Yup. If the horse had anything left, he'd still be with Tagg, they'd run him a time or two this winter at GP, then hit the State Bred turf races as soon as the AQU turf course re-opened.

I could be totally wrong, but I'm not using at a very very short price.

Depending on how you view his pp's, he's either a single or a toss.

I figured we were on the same page with that one. If he beats us, so be it.

Did you send your hate letter to Ken Whisenhunt for having his team and Kurt Warner so prepared for the Patriots?

Congrats Bigs, great job!

It was just a stupid decision on my part to even start Warner anyways. I also didn't envision Rivers having the kind of day he did against TB yesterday. If if I had started him and Justin Gage, I still would lost. I knew I was done when I logged on last night and Williams had 3 TD's:eek:

Not to hijack the thread, but it's unbelievable to think that the Bolts are going to get into the playoffs and host a game with an 8-8 record.

Bigsmc 12-22-2008 07:55 PM

Thanks guys.

I need Driver to stay out of the end zone tonight to win my money league.

The Bucs have completely gone in the tank. Although they had a good shot at winning that game yesterday until Garcia got his nose split open. He should've come out of the game so they could see if he knew what day it was. Two or three plays later, he throws a pick 6. Credit to the Chargers for not giving up on their season. Despite having Norv as a coach.

Bigsmc 12-22-2008 08:04 PM

Race 10

Why is Rare Ransom not running on the turf?

Bigsmc 12-22-2008 08:11 PM

I'm not a big fan of this Pick 4 sequence.....

1,3,7,9,10
1,3
6,8
4,6,9

$60

GL to all

Kev, I last seen Velez on the back of a Milk Carton. He'll find the winner's circle soon especially on the turf where he seems to do his best work.

Tampa Bay Downs

Spot Plays - Turf Only

R5 - #1 Provocative - Has a new home, returns to the lawn, and picks up hot jock. Also, like the fact that she's had 5 workouts at Goldmark since her last race on 11/22/08. One can agrue that this is a easier bunch than she faced in New Jersery over the summer. Demand some value 4-1 or better.

R7 - Divine Wonder - Better on turf and owns a win on this course. He's been in for a tag before, so the drop does not scare me.

R9 - #9 How to Know - Paco reunites and the mile seems like a better fit. Don't like that he doesn't have a published work since his last race on Thanksgiving Day at FG. 5-1 or better and he's worth a play.

Good Racing Luck

that track always makes me feel like I've been handicapping the wrong race.

TheSpyder 12-23-2008 03:08 PM

9th race...IF the 1 & 6 burn each other out which appears likely, the 4 - Marshala should pick up the pieces late and win.

$10 win on the 4

Coach Pants 12-23-2008 03:16 PM

I've got 10 wp on Wild Turk. It's a SCUDS hunch play.

GPK 12-23-2008 03:50 PM

F*ck you Pitchnicholas:mad:

Horse bent me over a couple times last meet and Golden Missled me:wf

Hey Bigs....I keep hearing Grunder talk about The Silks Card Room opens at 12:30 everyday. Can you see and wager on the races from that part of the clubhouse?:)

Should be able to do both. I will go up there and check it out Friday. The old card room had tv's, but the windows were right outside the door. I haven't wandered into the new one yet.
