Troy vs. So Miss, battle of the bad uniforms

Coach Pants 12-21-2008 09:34 PM

Just a horribly overconfident and lazy team. It's over for the Giants this season.

ninetoone 12-21-2008 09:35 PM

can't give up a 3rd and 9 like that to some scrub...

TheSpyder 12-21-2008 09:35 PM

Eli has been working on that beard all year. This is the first week that you can actually see it.

Watch out...Old Grand-Dad is a strict disciplinarian.

TheSpyder 12-21-2008 09:46 PM

That is one very big sack, maybe his more important of the year

TheSpyder 12-21-2008 09:47 PM

Watching this game it's occuring to me that the Atlanta Falcons might be the best team in the NFC.

I wonder if Mike is rooting for them from the slammer.

philcski 12-21-2008 09:51 PM

Normally I don't get too fired up over fantasy football, because (a) i don't care about it because I hate rooting for players and (b) i usually suck anyways, but somehow i found a way into the finals in my league at work (fairly significant $$$ for winning it.) Had a huge lead going in to this game, with me having the Carolina defense and he having DeAngelo Williams. You know how this ends.

Now I remember why I hate fantasy football

TheSpyder 12-21-2008 09:52 PM

No doubt they are very good, but can Matt Ryan hold under pressure? So far he's shown he can. It's a matter of road/home advantage which may make a big difference for a young player like him

I'm going to retire from fantasy football after this year for the same reason. That is after next week when Brees throws for 450.

I still think it's Carolina... but that's not saying much. They'd rank 5th-6th in the AFC behind Tenn, Indy, Pitt, maybe NE & Miami, and probably Baltimore. However, in a one game situation, I think they have a good chance of winning, the way they play.

I wanted to root for Carolina tonight because I hate the Giants. But I had to root for the Giants to stop DAW. Now I can go back to rooting for the Panthers.

ninetoone 12-21-2008 09:57 PM

nice duck by the ref!

TheSpyder 12-21-2008 09:58 PM

That was a bad call

TheSpyder 12-21-2008 10:00 PM

Either way it ends, this is one hell of a game

Well since Carolina can't close the deal against a Giants team that didn't come ready to play tonight...

ninetoone 12-21-2008 10:01 PM

This is gonna end w/Carney knocking one through the uprights.

TheSpyder 12-21-2008 10:06 PM
