Should Obama be worried??
Defendants ROD BLAGOJEVICH and JOHN HARRIS, together with
others, attempted to use ROD BLAGOJEVICH’s authority to appoint a United States Senator for the purpose of obtaining personal benefits for ROD BLAGOJEVICH, including, among other things, appointment as Secretary of Health & Human Services in the President-elect’s administration, and alternatively, a lucrative job which they schemed to induce a union to provide to ROD BLAGOJEVICH in exchange for appointing as senator an individual whom ROD BLAGOJEVICH and JOHN HARRIS believed to be favored by union officials and their associates. |

Obama and Blago have connections with Rezko |
but unless it was Blago talking to himself, someone close to Obama if not him would know of the plan to name Gov. Moron to the cabinet.
I think Blago will be singing by this afternoon if not now about anyone and everyone....This U.S. Atty (Fitzgerald) is unbelievable. If he gets Daley he hits the pic 6. (The vast majority of the hierarchy of the Chicago Mob, Gov Ryan, Rezco, Frm Ald. Vrdolyak, Gov. Blago) |
I wonder if the Gov was really being considered for the Cabinet...

so why did the Gov think he was getting a cabinet or ambassador position?
|
Quote:
In that two hour call they taped, even Gov Moron admitted his chances of getting a Cabinet position were slim because of all the negative publicity around him. And when they discuss Senate Candidate 1, who seems to be Obama's preference, Blago says that "he'll get nothing except Thanks for that appointment" and goes on to say "F*CK them"..them being Obama et al |

The most damning stuff is from the wiretaps they had on his home and campaign offices |

Also, Fitzgerald said, it was expected that Blagojevich would soon sign into law a bill that would direct a percentage of casino revenue to the horse racing industry -- a bill supported by someone who contributed $100,000. "To let that bill be signed, to me, would be very, very troubling," Fitzgerald said. |

Here's a fairly concise article on the situation(from the liberal Huffington Post). The article says in the affadavitt Blago calls Obama a "motherf;) cker" Says Rahm Emannuel blew the whistle on Blago |
I have not heard that locally.
IMO This all stems from the Stuart Levine and Rezko trial. Someone from that trial is talking, a Grand Jury was called and wire taps approved on the Gov. He then buried himself in 30 days. Rahm is much more likely to be Ind C than the whistle blower but I can see why Huffington et al hopes it is. |
I cant believe the party of the people has such corrupt people in it.

I don't know how Rezko can be dirty, Hot Rod be dirty and Obama accepting money from Rezko not be. like Hillary, McCain is a dem.(that actually supports the US) o-well Obama was smart enough not to offer fn Blogo anything in a straight forward fn way |

that is a myth the trains never ran on-time. |
this is getting pace advantage good.
if we have this much foaming at the mouth before he's even in office i can't imagine how good it's going to get when he's actually done something. |
banner day for Illinois! working hard to earn that title of most corrupt state.
how many states can say their govenor went on a crime spree? gotta wonder how much dirt Blago might have on others. ya gotta believe he'll be doing whatever he can to minimize the damage. take a look at the indictment, holy cow! what a moron this guy is. |
Quote:
They didn't even bother/need a Grand Jury indictment...just proceeded straight to the criminal charges. That shows how solid a case they think they have. And you know Fitzgerald hasn't played all his cards yet. It is mind boggling how stupid he is though |
hes gonna roll and give up alot of stuff..many a bone in the closets of high ranking people are going to come out..

and you're wildly off base with the idea emmanual could be involved as anything but a whistleblower. he's not a former member of the house. he's a current member. i think people wanting to see something bad in this for obama are going to see as much success as they got with socialist and palling around with terrorists. it's just not there. |
The terrorist would kick Blago out after a week
