provide to ROD BLAGOJEVICH in exchange for appointing as senator an individual whom ROD BLAGOJEVICH and JOHN HARRIS believed to be favored by union officials and
their associates.

but unless it was Blago talking to himself, someone close to Obama if not him would know of the plan to name Gov. Moron to the cabinet.

I think a ton of people are worrying. Bet a lot of lawyers braved the weather to head into the loop today.

That connection has been vetted pretty thoroughly the past 18 months. If there was truly more there than what is known, McCain and even Hilary would have been all over it

In that two hour call they taped, even Gov Moron admitted his chances of getting a Cabinet position were slim because of all the negative publicity around him.

And when they discuss Senate Candidate 1, who seems to be Obama's preference, Blago says that "he'll get nothing except Thanks for that appointment" and goes on to say "F*CK them"..them being Obama et al

He is/was appointing the next Senataor to replace Obama...He was trying to identify what each of the 5 candidates could offer to benefit himself..A wide range of things from being appointed at a high salary to a board, to his wife being appointed, etc. He was speculating that if he selected Obama's Pick (Candiadate 1 in the indictment) maybe he could get a Cabinet Post. He then also said that all Obama would says is "Thanks" and said "F*ck them"..referring to Obama

well thats is good... i'd hate to see the Prez Elect be drug through something like this when we have enough bad things going on in this country. And I really do mean that.

Bet Daley wants to meet with his atty as well as Blago's wife, Candidates 1 thru 5 Contractors 1-4 and fundraisers named thru out.

What I would like to know is what the feds had on this guy that wore a wire and flipped on Blago...

The most damning stuff is from the wiretaps they had on his home and campaign offices

I have not heard that locally.

IMO This all stems from the Stuart Levine and Rezko trial. Someone from that trial is talking, a Grand Jury was called and wire taps approved on the Gov. He then buried himself in 30 days. Rahm is much more likely to be Ind C than the whistle blower but I can see why Huffington et al hopes it is.

I cant believe the party of the people has such corrupt people in it.

take a look at the indictment, holy cow! what a moron this guy is.

They didn't even bother/need a Grand Jury indictment...just proceeded straight to the criminal charges. That shows how solid a case they think they have. And you know Fitzgerald hasn't played all his cards yet.
