OK.

So the Redskins lost the game before the election. I forgot which party wins when they lose ,but it's a great indicator.

somerfrost 11-04-2008 08:21 PM

McCain ahead in Va but Obama closing like Silky Sullivan with the liberal northern part of the state still largely out! To close to call!

No...alot of the Northen part is in. They are waiting on the Hampton Roads area (Newport News, Norfolk, etc) which is heavily populated with military votes.

GPK 11-04-2008 08:24 PM

Its over now anyways....Ohio just went to brotha man.

dalakhani 11-04-2008 08:36 PM

I was home sick today. They came today yet again to make sure we were still voting obama.

You have to hand it to Obama's people. They ran a great campaign.

It would't have taken much anyway IMO.

gales0678 11-04-2008 08:38 PM

if the "dems" couldn't win this year when would they ever win?

I dont know about that but, as mort says, its all conjecture.

I have lived in northern va for a while now. I have NEVER had campaign people knock on my door 4 times or even once.

A black dem by the name of Barrack Hussein Obama? Its a huge accomplishment.

I agree though. The dems win with just regular John Smith running. They get style points with Obama.

Not really...any normal Democrat would have f*cked it up somehow.

heck Andy Serling could have ran for the dems and won , problem would be there would be no one to pick all the winners at the big a over the next 4 yrs!

I really think the fact that he is young and half black played a huge role. I can't think of too many older white career democrats that wouldn't have found someway to screw it up.

See...I disagree. Not just any Dem would have won...IMO

Coach Pants 11-04-2008 09:04 PM

It has absolutely everything to do with Bush. To think otherwise is retarded.

Mortimer 11-04-2008 09:04 PM

Ditto.
