Palin: maverick we have a problem

I think that this will have no impact on the election. Basically all Obama has to do is run out the clock without doing something stupid. And hope nothing disasterous (terrorist wise) happens around the world. Otherwise the Republicans can play the homeland security card in the final hours and maybe squeak it out.

dalakhani 10-10-2008 09:32 PM

This is just Timmigirvan bait. I figure if i post this, Timmi will find some blog from The STAR that claims that Obama is part sasquatch.

If she was the Gov of NJ....this "problem" would have been handled in a different way.

Speaking for myself, this was the last straw to swing my vote. I typically vote republican, but I will say in all candor that I have been undecided this go 'round, until now. After 8 years of tolerating a dimwit abusing his authority, the last thing I'm willing to put up with is another dimwit with the same mindset. At first I was leaning Mcain, then wasn't crazy about the VP selection but also it wasn't a total dealbreaker for me, and now I'm done with 'em.

As for Palin's claims that she did nothing wrong and her advice to "read the report", Well I did. Admittedly not all 263 pages, but at least the synopsis of the roles of the primary players, the summaries and the case findings.

Help yourself:

My verdict: No Thanks.

I will choose a tax plan that won't work, will be a detriment to the actual working class, and frankly has a snowball's chance in hell of ever getting through over the strong possibility that this dolt may actually be running the show one of these days. Hello Jimmy Carter err… Barack Obama

Dimmy...really.

Poll the audience fer gosh sakes.

No one has ever used all 3 on the 100 dollar question.

This is not good.

And they said nobody ever votes for the VP .... Albeit a bit naive to think those in power don't abuse it on a daily bases.

but..by the same token, who can blame alaskans for feeling they aren't wanted? one of the arguments againt palin all these months is that altho she may have exec experience, it's ONLY involving alaska, which apparently isn't a real or meaningful state. i find that attitude disgraceful from those in the supposedly more civilized parts of the states.

steve 10-11-2008 07:45 PM

agreed---but is that not as radical as they saw the left is

Danzig 10-11-2008 07:47 PM

i don't know, ask scuds. he's a left winger, and wants the whole southeast to be it's own country.

there's 430,000 people in alaska. rhode island could kick their ass.

i'm not insulting all the employee's and customers at my local coffee shop if i suggest the owner's delusion that he's ready to run starbucks is off base.

i'm just saying the owner might be in over his/her head.

in no way am i suggesting that palins few years as governor of alaska has given her the experience necessary. my post is more about the denigration of alaska. it's been far more than just speaking of her experience imo.

"But based on the known facts, charges so far and testimony at Rezko's trial, there's no indication there'll be a so-called "October surprise" that could hurt the Democratic presidential nominee _ even though Rezko says prosecutors are pressing him for dirt about Obama."
