I disagree. I think he has been good so far. He even has Obama stammering a bit.

He doesn't have Obama doing anything. Obama says "uh" a lot regardless. Well, at least when he's not doing his "jive talk," as you put it..

They are both stammering and are both full of **** at times .... Johnny still needs a ventilator ...

To me, he seemed out of breath on many levels, but a butt-kicking---no ....

I could not agree more ... And thanks for the laugh----that man left us too soon, AND he was on my fantasy ticket for the White House, though I am not sure how the hand gestures would have gone over globally ...

McCain was strong and solid tonight. I think he won the debate and he took a couple of good swipes at Obama.
Obama really didn't do anything to cost him, but he did seem to get away from one of his biggest sticking points. Which is consistently linking McCain to Bush and how the next 4 years would be a continuation of the last 8 years. Even if that's not the truth, thats enough to sway/scare many Americans to vote for Obama. I think he only mentioned once tonight.
Two down one to go, it should be interesting.

I am from MA, and that dolt did nothing ... Believe me ...

Definitely agree with this. Obama must keep linking McCain
to Rep. failure in running the Congress for ~6 years and
tying him to Bush.

Any thoughts from the conservatives on McCain's plan to buy up all these mortgages? That was too liberal even for me.

I thought McCain looked very old, sad and lonely.


I thought Obama won clearly, but not in any monumental way

The Navy Seal(?) guy helped McCain, and, I thought, showed some support for him by giving him the thumbs up and shaking McCain's hand

After the debate ended, as they worked the crowd with their wives, McCain ignored Obama's attempt to shake hands. Cindy McCain did exchange greetings with Obama. Michelle didn't seem to make much of an attempt to greet either John or Cindy

One last thing, I think every attempt at humor by McCain went thud.

I am shocked that Michelle wasn't friendly. She looks like such a nice person.

Nationalizing another segment of our economy, maybe ????

I would like to see an exact definition on what he is looking to do. But my iniatial thinking is that he is walking on very thin ice. Basically you would be punishing people who do pay their mortgage on time. Why should some people be able to renegotiate? There would have to be some sort of incentive for people paying their mortgage, otherwise everyone would try to renegotiate. Seems sketchy, I need to hear more.

Frankly I thought it was rude ... The man has never referred to Sen. Obama as Barack ... I do not think it was an accident ...
