This is depressing ... McCain's answer on Russia was good, I thought ... And I am pro- O ...
I feel the urge to ditch this and be shallow and go shopping on Ebay----OY ... |
I guess we all interpret things differently.
I think McCain is taking a butt-kicking. |
Thank god thats over! :zz:
|
I did not think it was that bad.
McCain did better at the end. This is really very good compared to past Pres. debates. |

I think McCain is taking a butt-kicking.[/QUOTE To me, he seemed out of breath on many levels, but a butt-kicking---no .... However, he did NOT change the game ... |

McCain kind of got in a groove. I really thought he was getting kicked early. |
I tried to watch but found Troy/Fl Atlantic more appealing. Lee Corso should run...

McCain was strong and solid tonight. I think he won the debate and he took a couple of good swipes at Obama.
Obama really didn't do anything to cost him, but he did seem to get away from one of his biggest sticking points. Which is consistently linking McCain to Bush and how the next 4 years would be a continuation of the last 8 years. Even if that's not the truth, thats enough to sway/scare many Americans to vote for Obama. I think he only mentioned once tonight. Two down one to go, it should be interesting. |

Any thoughts from the conservatives on McCain's plan to buy up all these mortgages? That was too liberal even for me.
|
I thought McCain looked very old, sad and lonely.
I thought Obama won clearly, but not in any monumental way The Navy Seal(?) guy helped McCain, and, I thought, showed some support for him by giving him the thumbs up and shaking McCain's hand After the debate ended, as they worked the crowd with their wives, McCain ignored Obama's attempt to shake hands. Cindy McCain did exchange greetings with Obama. Michelle didn't seem to make much of an attempt to greet either John or Cindy One last thing, I think every attempt at humor by McCain went thud. |
I am shocked that Michelle wasn't friendly. She looks like such a nice person.

I too am considered liberal, but whaaaaaaa ???? What happened to less big government ... How can our moose muching Veep cadidate explain this away, winkwink ... |
And I thought McCain's reference to Obama as "that one" was weird.
Obama camp has already reacted to it: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/ |
