Quite the competitive heat. Could make a case for almost everyone in the field.

ninetoone 09-06-2008 06:47 PM

She's the morning line favorite at 3-1.

9/11: KNS-Arlington 7th

Here's a role call, meet-up information and running comment thread for Thursday's KICKIN N SCREAMIN start at Arlington Park..

Not sure who's committed to a visit yet...?

Payson Dave 09-09-2008 08:56 AM

If I fly into Midway and grab a rental car for the day, what kind of a drive is it to the track...?

On a Thursday mid-morning, it will take you about an hour to go Midway-Arlington. And given that the race is late in the p.m., getting back to Midway will take 2 hours through Chicago traffic...

Yes

Heels1989 09-09-2008 09:01 AM

Dave

Made this drive back in May. Depending on trafiic, you should probably figure 45 mintues to an hour, Midway to AP. The Chicago crew should have a better gauge.

Payson Dave 09-09-2008 09:05 AM

Steve, Scav, Heels,
Thanks for the info....my post-Saratoga freshening is complete...I'd love to make it to see all three of the girls race...I do believe I may be able pull this off.

I laughed..

(There are members of the "Chicago crew" that couldn't find Michigan Ave. if you put them at Navy Pier..)

Heels1989 09-09-2008 09:10 AM

I wonder who that might be. :D

I actually have only been to Navy Pier once in my life, and that was to go swing dancing with this hot gymnastics girl that I was trying to get with. (I met her at University of Kentucky actually, Tim Couch era)

I am so envious - wish I could do the same. Only Belmont Park for me and watching the simulcast at Suffolk Downs for the other girls. Good luck with your travels!

to get north, take I-290 instead of I-294 (interstate that goes by O'Hare). 294 is the interstate that's under construction this year.

and next year....and the year after that ....

just judging by the mess that is!

SuffolkGirl 09-10-2008 09:23 AM

Does anyone have the PPs for KNS's race?

Thanks in advance!

I'm sure Steve will post something soon.

However, PM your e-mail address and I'll send along to DRF Basic PP's.

(That goes for you too, Hoff.)

AeWingnut 09-10-2008 11:28 AM

I plan on going to the race tomorrow

Hickory Hill Hoff 09-10-2008 08:40 PM

I see it....

geeker2 09-10-2008 08:45 PM

normally, they rotate between them.... 90 one year, 290 the next, 294 the next, 94 the next... start over again.... it's ALWAYS a mess. At least they're not screwing with 90 this time, as it's what I use the most.

I agree. the 5 and 1 are of more concern to me than the 9. I'd go 3-5-1-9.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow! won't be able to see the race live, but will definitely watch the website replay when I get back.

oilertige 09-11-2008 06:44 AM

Have some fun @ AP . . .

and smile when you get that picture taken! Won't be able to make the trip today to watch our KnS; but will be to heading to Trackside in Ft. Wayne wearing the DT colors proudly to watch our gal! Best wishes going out to KnS and all making the trip for safe travels!

TheSpyder 09-11-2008 08:54 AM

Good luck to all!

Hope everyone enjoys Kickin N Screamin's last Arlington start today.. Thanks to TC on a great summer with her! The (#1) rail horse looks like she'll be next to impossible to beat here, but that's why they run...

Nice to add Rene Douglas to the roster of Dee Tee riders. Safe journey to him and KNS and all those making the trip. Race will be live on ATR if you're in the car with SIRIUS or home on the computer. Est. start of 5:15 EST.

This will be KNS's 7th start for Dee Tee (6/1-2-1), and the 13th start overall for the Stable (12/1-5-1). Hope KNS partners, and all Stable partners, enjoy this first of 3 scheduled starts over the next 9 days! (For those keeping track, here are the jocks that have worn the Lime and Royal thus far...)

James Graham (1)
Willie Martinez (3)
Calvin Borel (1)
Ramon Dominguez (1)
Rosemary Homeister Jr. (2)
Daniel Centeno (2)
Jose Velez (2)
Rene Douglas (1)
Rich Migliore (Scheduled 9/14)

Should be a real nice today today outside, mid 70's and partly sunny

My guess is that Arlington will be firm, but it won't be rock hard firm

GBBob 09-11-2008 10:39 AM

Good luck to KNS and DT

I can hear TC in the paddock to Rene.."Just win man...I don't care how...just win"

then Douglas says something that no one understands and TC nods

ddthetide 09-11-2008 10:41 AM

safe travels everyone. good luck TC and KNS!

Heels1989 09-11-2008 11:05 AM

My excitement level has steadily increased as the morning has worn on. Will be tough to focus on work this afternoon for sure. Heading over to Rosecroft Raceway to watch the heat and drop down a few $$$.

Best of luck and safe travels to all partners and friends and especially KnS, Chuck, TC and Team Simon.

Hickory Hill Hoff 09-11-2008 11:23 AM

Hopefully the first of a "hat trick" starting today thru next Saturday!

ninetoone 09-11-2008 12:00 PM

The 6 is scratched....was the M/L 2nd choice.

Spiggle24 09-11-2008 12:45 PM
