2008 NFL predictions thread
AFC
Patriots / Steelers / Colts / Chargers Wild cards - Jets / Jags AFC championship - Chargers over Pats NFC Cowboys / Vikings / Saints / Seahawks Wild cards - Eagles / Giants NFC championship - Vikings over Cowboys Super Bowl XLIII - Chargers over Vikings  |
The Vikings?! Has the NFL done away with the QB position?
|
AFC
NE / Steelers / Jags / Chargers Wild cards - Cleveland / Colts AFC championship - NE over Jags NFC Cowboys / Vikings / Saints / Arizona Wild cards - Giants / Green Bay NFC championship - Cowboys over Saints Cowboys over New England Bears = 4 wins |
The Patriots have way too much offense to not be the overwhelming most likely winner of the Super Bowl.
I expect more emphasis to be placed on peaking in the playoffs this year - instead of going all-out all year long like last year. |

I think the Colts are over. No way they win the Super Bowl. |

I wouldnt use that rule with the Pats... its not like last year was there first year in the superbowl. I hope they suck but they'll probably be very good and at LEAST make it to the AFC Champ game. I would like them to go 0-16 though personally. |
afc jets /fins plus 5 wins this year/ broncos/pats
nfc da bears 9 wins my friend..bucs/panthers team you should allways bet against green bay dog you should allways play tennesee titans |

And you should lay the points and take the Giants tonight with your offshore friends. The Skin's suck worse than last year at the moment and enjoy playing in Giant stadium about as much as horses enjoy running in snow. I thought the line would be closer to 7......4.5 seems pretty lean to me but I defer to Coach |

I was curious about thoughts on this game...Line has moved from 3.5 to 4.5, but still a tough call I think |

The over under for sacks tonight should be five even without the two all pro's the giants lost |

It's the NFC. Wide open NFC. Case in point, 2007-08. Last year should have put the light on in your head that any team can get there, and once there, anything can happen. Well, except for the Bears this year, but you already knew that. It's who gets hot at the right time. Were the Giants that much better than the rest of the NFC last year?? And they were one dropped interception away from losing, so it goes to show the parity in the league is a fine, fine line. Make your picks, I'll make mine. I'm sure one of us will bump the thread around the new year. |

Fins - more than just 3 wins. Steelers win the North by default, think the Brownies regress in '08. Tenn. is better than just 6-10. Chargers roll in the AFC West. Lions aren't that good. Don't like Carolina at all. |
