Tonight's races in Australia

Anyone want to bet Australia tonight in between Hollywood?

We have some pretty good races with huge fields.

If anyone is interested, post here and I will get Rick to get on here with me and throw out some picks while we are switching the races.

He does a whole lot better than I do with the Down-Under races and usually gets some huge prices.

free pp's at www.australianracing.com

You know I am down...Who is Rick?

Togacapper 06-02-2006 07:58 PM

Sure that would be cool. I'm usually up for a few good Aus turf races.

Rick Albright.

He works here at Australian/UK/SAF Racing with me and does very well with Australian horses.

He fires at them on a daily basis.

He had a $78.00 winner last night that he had been touting all night. He uses Barrier Trials a lot along with looking for key races that a few horses are coming out of. The Barrier Trials really help out, and you can find them in the AAP program links I posted.

Race 1 Eagle Farm

Give a good look to the 4 Grecolo, ran a big race last out when I bet him at big odds. Won a BT off the layoff by 8 lenghts then proceeded to go WAY over his head in the Guineas. Almost scored in the Classic next out, big shot here VS somewhat easier.

Scurlogue Champ 06-02-2006 09:02 PM

1,10,11,17 Exacta Box in Race 1A for me.

Betting the 3 to win for a saver.

16-1 I can't pass on that Rick.

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:05 PM

1 3 4 6 Thats me

Longshotrick 06-02-2006 09:07 PM

Good Luck Toga , I'm down too. I usually do MUCH better on the Bad night's of racing at Australia. I love Monday's , wednesdays and Thursday for Country and Povincial Racing. I like to bet the bad maiden and Class 1's at the country tracks. We'll see how I do here tonight though.

Rick

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:08 PM

well was 16-1 untill Rick placed his bet....

Scurlogue Champ 06-02-2006 09:09 PM

The 1 and 3 are both pretty classy. And the 3-Jackal has Zach Purton up. Purton has seemed more committed to riding hard lately and is really becoming polished for a young rider.

He reminds me of Jamie Spencer...used to be a bit unpredictable but now brings home the ones he is supposed to.

Scurlogue Champ 06-02-2006 09:11 PM

Rick doesn't miss a race. I think his entire paycheck goes back into the pools here.

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:14 PM

Close to post here

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:15 PM

4 taking a lot of late $$

Scurlogue Champ 06-02-2006 09:15 PM

We put up a pop-up for you Toga

Did you see it?

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:19 PM

DAMN did I get caught. NICE CALL RICK.

Scurlogue Champ 06-02-2006 09:21 PM

Our other handicapper, Bob Seifert picked the 5 as his top selection on the front page of the website.

We didn't combine them though.

Sucks

Rick pounded the 4 though...

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:22 PM

They are ripping up that inside

Scurlogue Champ 06-02-2006 09:22 PM

Later in the card, the jocks might all go grab that outside rail and when that happens there are some really exciting finishes.

Gauchos0522 06-02-2006 09:24 PM

If the 4 won I am quite happy thanks to Rick. Don't have video so im just going by results on the account. Anywhere to watch these things online? Thanks again Rick...

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:25 PM

Scurlogue Champ 06-02-2006 09:26 PM

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:28 PM

Live in the Philly area and Phonebet TV isnt carrying video for Australia just betting. O well as long as its a winner I don't care if I see it or not.:)

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:30 PM

1 B going with the 8

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:31 PM

I will use the 2 with the fav and my 8

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:34 PM

a little of bumping off the turn. They wernt gonna catch the winner though

Scurlogue Champ 06-02-2006 09:38 PM

Hopefully we will get another one here in a minute.

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:39 PM

boards wide open 1s the big fav

Scurlogue Champ 06-02-2006 09:43 PM

I love the 5 here-BENEDETTI

The barrier draw worries me a little, but he should be the favorite.

If he stays over 4-1 I am firing at him.

Longshotrick 06-02-2006 09:46 PM

If you really want a stretch here, I,m going to make a fairly small wager on the 13 Silky Red Boxer. Purton did get off him though to ride the #1. The horse likes to hit the board and will be a price, that Scone Cup race had some good horses ship in and he only got beat a length there.

Good Luck

Longshotrick 06-02-2006 09:49 PM

I backed the 3 a couple weeks ago and he didn't fire scares me a bit though. Boxing 1,3,13,5

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:49 PM

Using the 1,5,6

Togacapper 06-02-2006 09:53 PM

He put the 14 in his #s

Longshotrick 06-02-2006 09:54 PM

4th a head at 32-1 Damn. If the 14 doesn't fire I have exacta and Trifecta. The more I thought about it the more I loved the 13 at 32-1.
