your right hoss...
listen lets go, 200 each and play the pick 6 at belmont wednesday. just a small ticket, with are masterful skills combined we can hit it

I find the 5 very interesting in the 4th. Three bad trys at hurdles but must be extremely fit with wins at the track and distance and never out of the money at the distance and currently 21/1.

I'm pretty sure Sabotage's shoe came loose halfway thru the race, then worked its' way back on again

well i hit 2 pick 3's today, but lost money.

ateamstupid 06-23-2008 03:37 PM

You're lucky the Pick 3's paid as much as they did. Those could've easily paid $15..

What makes you think the Gomez firster is a stand-out?

i did not say standout ? dam is attack joe day ?

go to the drf pp's and look at the trainer stats with 2 yr olds and firsters.
that is the main reasson i will be using him

who do you like ?

hockey2315 06-23-2008 06:47 PM

You're only using two horses so obviously you think he's a standout. The Gomez horse has a really unimpressive pedigree (although Catienus is ok) and she'll be overbet because it's Asmussen. The 2 would be no surprise, the 3 doesn't have the best trainer for FTS but she's got the pedigree for this and a pretty steady work pattern, the 6 isn't impossible, the 8's a total mystery, the 9 could improve, and obviously the 10 is the one to beat. Just seems like if you're not going to single the 10, using only the 1 is kind of arbitrary.

no i dont think he's a standout i think the 10 is, but i will use gomez, because of how good assmussen is, make sense ?

hockey2315 06-23-2008 07:21 PM

not really. . .

ok.. let me try to explain then you tell me if i am wrong...
the 10 ran huge first out, i normally wont be horses like that, big leads and quit, but he is a 2 yr old and should improve, and dutrow is big time second time out... so i think he is the standout, i think if he were to stumble the 1 is the next most likely winner...

so are you saying i should toss the 1 and single the 10 ?

hockey2315 06-23-2008 07:38 PM

No - either single the 10 or go more than 2 wide. . . There are six firsters in the race and 4 other lightly-raced horses and you're banking on being right about which one can run off of limited info and without getting any value.

hockey2315 06-23-2008 07:44 PM

Not the best post for a first timer either. . .
