I think Golden Doc A is still back east and is pointing to the Acorn.

Any word on whether or not Motovato is coming up for the Woody Stephens, Steve?

Andy may have heard something today.. I'll be at Belmont by noon tomorrow and will start getting as much news as possible out. Want to focus on the undrrcard a lot this week since there isn't a tremendous amount of mystery to the feature itself. Will do plenty of 'Crown' stuff, but I think the rest of the card, and the lead-up, are important.

Note everything for the week is drawn at Belmont up to Friday and available at DRF now...

I see Biker Boy's nominated for the race, too. I hope he goes. . .

Several potential singles in the P6 sequence

hockey2315 06-04-2008 03:17 PM

True - Indian Blessing and Big Brown . . . I'm inclined to play against Einstein but i'll have to look at the PPs.

I am completely against people handicapping and all for them betting their money.

Casino Drive a "solid single" just made my day.

The undercard overall is very interesting. I could see myself going a bunch of different ways.. Anywhere from 0-3 singles.

I started looking at the PPs and these races aren't straightforward at all . . . Indian Blessing doesn't look like a single like I thought she was.

Would like to hear more from you guys on this one. I caught that big beast Stalingrad last out at 2nd choice, but this is another class. I am tossing BTN from the exacta.

Who do ya like ?

That's because I don't have the luxury of throwing darts as soon as the entries are posted. :p

Take in the good, I mean this guy has posted his picks in five races over Friday-Saturday and he hasn't mentioned any of the horses I like. It's perfect.

There are some absolutely fascinating allowance races on this card as well, in particular the 4th. You have the potential of Fidelio and Mobo, Corinthian's half brother in Vitruvius, the interesting Admirality on the turnback, the very good but hanging Forefathers, and a couple coming out of a race I've been watching very closely (4/20/08 KEE allowance). The only one I'm pretty sure that can't win is Unbridled Danger. A real brainbuster...

jcs11204 06-04-2008 06:07 PM

i cant belive jv is getting off game face.. to ride for jerkens... not that i think either of them have a chance anyway

Why? Zaftig's last race was pretty big. I'm starting to not like Indian Blessing. Taking the blinkers off is an interesting move by Baffert - is he going to try to rate her? Good luck with that. . .

If you want an interesting jockey move - JJ choosing (assuming he chose) Strike the Deal over Pays to Dream seems odd. Maybe Pays to Dream's last really was a fluke - or maybe we can't trust the pinhead to tell us which horse is better.

Good luck with Shakis - he looks done to me.

Bobby Fischer 06-04-2008 06:28 PM

pays to dream looks cheap to me.

i never said i like shakis...
i dont like him at all
maybe i got my numbers messed up... in the manhattan i like 4 horses.....
Stalingrad,Proudinsky,Strike a Deal , stream of gold.... those are the 4

zatfig did look fine, beating a bad field, and jv was not even on that day... but like i said i dont think it matters, indian blessing, to me is the best single on the card... short field... her class, her speed, i think she romps

jcs11204 06-04-2008 06:33 PM

idid not say shakis, but i still did get my numbers messed up... i like the horses i said the last post

I don't really trust him. . . The Pimlico race was HUGE but the grass that day was probably worse than its "good" rating and nobody else in the field fired. Bounce-believers (not me) could point to that too.

Thanks for liking my play against! I feel like a winner already.
