The thread that doesn't exist yet..

We all know what it is...
There are the "who do you toss out" threads, the " "why should fillies double enter thread" and the "I'm waiting for PPs and video" thread..

but..

Who do you pick to win The Derby?

Scav 04-23-2008 10:03 PM

Colonel John

(Obviously post pending)

GPK 04-23-2008 10:04 PM

I feel safe in assuming you meant the thread that doesn't EXIST yet?

TheSpyder 04-23-2008 10:05 PM

I'm really leaning towards the horse that comes in first which quite obviously is Big Smooth Akati.

Spyder

GFY....premium handicappers, such as Andy and myself, clearly go about this the right way. We wait until the draw comes out.

You will catch on one of these days.

Coach Pants 04-23-2008 10:12 PM

hockey2315 04-23-2008 10:14 PM

It wasn't suppose to be, but people are so looney right now because of the Derby, anything goes...

Coach Pants 04-23-2008 10:18 PM

I really like Tale of Ekati. I'm hoping the party line holds strong on the slow wood theory.

Riot 04-23-2008 10:19 PM

The Kentucky Derby winner will be ... bay.

Im with you P. Although me thinks our time to cash on him was in the Wood. If the price is right, which it should be, he will be my only bet in the Derby.

He should be between 12-18/1. I hope.

Absolutely not.

miraja2 04-23-2008 10:32 PM

I would go with Street Sense to win it again....but mares don't usually win the Derby.

The last two years I have trusted my computer program and have gone with Congaree....but that didn't work.

So....I think this year I am going with Black Beauty or Shadowfax.

GBBob 04-23-2008 10:33 PM

I guess the idea was to hear about who we liked, understanding there are post position's to be drawn, fillies to be double entered and probably a surprise scratch. But it's been all about throwing out ponies, with some subtle references of love buried in there..

Okay, why don't I leave the nice thread alone now?:D

Oh, Smooth Air.

Course if he draws post 20 I might have to go with Gayego.

(Oh stop laughing).
