Anyone hear the comments Mike M. (pitcher) made AFTER the game about Alex ? If you read between the lines ..sounds like Mike was telling Alex to get his head out of his *** ! Makes one wonder how many others think that in the locker room ?

Arod is the most overpaid gutless choking lazy person in all of sports. I preached that it was awful to get him the day the yankees traded a great player for him and his bloated salary. We can't even trade the guy, we are stuck with him like a bad cold. I can't stand anything about the guy and what hes basically good for is a solo homer when his team is behind or leading by ten runs. Hes a joke.

He hasn't had a meaningful hit in his life and his playoff stats are so disgraceful as to be nauseating. Hes a textbook choker, the anti Jeter. Some guys want the game in their hands when its on the line(Jeter, Montana, Emmit Smith, Jordan, Messier, Gretzky, Mariano, Clemens) and some guys wanna fade into the background and not have it come down to them. His swings at the plate these days are so pathetic that Im gonna need a new tv soon because I keep throwing things at it when hes at bat. Hes missing the ball by at least a foot on every swing, hes not even close. And know hes developed a mental block like Mackey Sasser(the famous catcher who couldnt throw the ball back to the mound during a game) as far as his throwing goes. He has 17 errors so far and its not even August yet. Does it shock you that Mussina would say what he said? Arod cost his team a win in the field again. They have lost all faith in him and the fact that he makes more than most of them combined just adds to the fuel. Bottom line is that if you are gonna play in NY and make that kind of cash you are gonna have to produce. Oh, and where are all those geniuses who fought with me when the Yankees got him that he should replace Jeter at short? Are you ****ing kidding me? Hes got 17 errors just guarding the line at third, how many would he have at short(where Jeter continues to vacuum everything hit at him and turn flawless double plays and throw out everyone even off balance deep in the hole?). Yeah he should be playing short, sure, in a mens slow pitch softball league maybe.

Gander 07-21-2006 09:38 AM

And where are all the geniuses who said Curt Schilling was all done? 12-3, having a career type year, ya he looks all done to me! LOL!

SCUDSBROTHER 07-21-2006 09:40 AM

Be interesting to see which of these two nervous fumblers ends up with the most errors(AROD,or FURCAL.)Furcal was way ahead, but AROD is coming fast and hard now.

Schilling was done last year, that foot was obviously bothering him. Hes winning but his era and velocity are way up and down. Hes still not the old Schilling, Kenny Rogers is having a great year as well as Contreras, but I wouldnt exactly trade Mussina, Hallday, or Santana for them.

Arod will blow by Furcal. You can see his head is exploded now, more of this nightmare will follow. God forbid he start practicing throwing and fielding and work on his hitting, wouldnt wanna do that. hes the mighty Arod, hes got all the answers!!!

Gander 07-21-2006 09:48 AM

What a disappointment Furcal turned out to be. 4 years ago I thought this guy was going to be the next great superstar of the game. Thought he had the potential to set the all time run record and his arm (still is) one of the best I have ever seen at any position. Lets hope he turns things around. As far as A Rod goes, who the F cares. Hes a first class pompass ass.

Gander 07-21-2006 09:52 AM

I dont know Mike, Curt Schilling does what he has to, to win games. I think winning is far more important than ERA. Sure he doesnt have the velocity or the ERA he had 3-4 years ago, but he is a winner. Like Jeter, players rally around the guy and give him support when needed. I'd rather have him on my team than a guy like Pedro, who is mentally weak but physically more talented than anyone in the game, maybe even Clemens.

Schilling reminds me so much of Jeter in that respect. When he wins games, nobody should give a damn about his ERA.

Gander,Furcal is tiny.Looks like a little sable rat dressed up in a uniform.Little short arms(like a rat.)If he gets on base(big if,)He is good at scoring.I will give him that.He must be the best I have ever seen at getting home after making it to 1st base. Not unusual for a guy to have a tough year after getting a mint.He might have a good year next year.Dodgers try a lot harder at home than on the road(take from that whatever you will...on the road, they lay down like a lazy ho.)

Gander 07-21-2006 10:10 AM

Hes made no effort to learn any english either. Must be very hard to communicate with.

A month or 2 ago,Grady (commenting on Furcal's fielding)said that he was possibly "thinking too much." After hearing this,Furcal said "I don't think about nothing." Actually,I have seen him interviewed, and he can speak English o.k. I just think he is one of those highly defensive Latins that you are better off just not correcting at all. That covers a lot of them(actually.)Scioscia has about the best luck with dealing with them.Even he had trouble with NUTJOB GUILLEN.

Yeah he should be playing short, sure, in a mens slow pitch softball league maybe. Like i said, that's me baby, I make mad dazzling stops at short, crank back the cannon and throw the ball in the stands! I'm the AROD of mens slow pitch!

SCUDSBROTHER 07-21-2006 12:36 PM

Well,as far as AROD'S offense goes,I think he had his swing down perfectly when they beat the Mets at Yankee Stadium(about 3 weeks ago.)They showed him hitting a home run in very slow motion, and it was technically perfect. They need to make him watch that tape as if it was J-LO in a porn flick.

I played some decent third base softball in my day. Learned to wear a cup.

Rodriguez? New name.... E5-ROD.

GPK 07-21-2006 09:04 PM

and what the hell was he afraid of with that ball coming down the line tonight??? Poor wittle Alex...afraid he might get a boo boo from the ball....

and another errant throw again tonight...this time to first....:D :D

Bogey 07-21-2006 10:49 PM

A-Fraud has got the THING, a al Chuck Knoblack, Steve Sax, Mickey Sasser, and Mark Wholers. It could not happen to a person guy. JUSTICE

SCUDSBROTHER 07-21-2006 11:06 PM

"Rodriguez continues to struggle defensively. He made a costly error on Thursday, and he failed to catch Vernon Wells' popup in foul territory in the fourth Friday.

"I didn't see it at all. Tough sky," Rodriguez said.

Wells followed with a grounder to A-Rod, whose throw to first pulled Andy Phillips off the bag for an error. Frank Catalanotto, who had walked, took second and later scored on Troy Glaus' sacrifice fly to make it 6-3.

Fans jeered and one fan held up a sign that read E-Rod."

What a mess.

oracle80 07-23-2006 07:11 AM

Scumbag piece of trash. Committed error number 18 on Friday night and then was taken out of the field yesterday to DH and struck out 4 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stranding 6 baserunners!!!!! Hes dog vomit and has the weakest mental makeup of anyone I ever saw. The *******er ought to be wearing a dress and high heels. 25 million a year to commit 18 errors through July and strike out 4 times in one game(against ted Lilly!!!!, geez).
And once again Jeter comes through with smart baserunning forcing a balk(Jeters comments about how slow Lily is to home show he does his homework about opposing pitchers). Arod is a disgrace.

lol. It's not easy to strike out 4 x in a game (ARod = E-Rod = now, K-Rod?). Only 40 players have pulled it off this year (according to Kurkjian on BB 2Night). The last time ARod did it he was a rookie and got sent down.

ARod is the modern day Ryne Sandberg. I watched Sandberg for 15 years and never got the guy. I rarely saw him get a big hit and NEVER saw him dive for a ball.

SCUDSBROTHER 07-23-2006 09:35 AM

Mike,I think the mental make-up of that Bode Miller(skier)is about the worst ever.

dalakhani 07-23-2006 10:04 AM

Arod is a great player. He is probably a little too sensitive to be playing in New York though. He is thinking too much right now. Those errors and strikeouts are a result of the guy pressing.

He will be back dominating before anyone knows it.

As far as him not being clutch, correct me if im wrong but i think from the last all star break to this year's he led the league in gamewinning hits.

Hes not clutch and never has been. You are way off there. You care to talk about his playoff stats the last two seasons? Hes the lowest form of life out there.

SCUDSBROTHER 07-23-2006 10:20 AM

Worst mental make-up of athletes:

1)Bode Miller

2)Sergio Garcia

3)AROD

4)So called "pitcher" Tavarez is hard charging these 3.

Could you really tell us How you feel about E-rod ?... LOL {just kidding}

boldruler 07-24-2006 12:45 PM

Arod is no David Wright. :) The reason people hate him is because an person could see he is mentally weak. He is the complete opposite of Tiger Woods. He is also a pretty boy and more interested in his image than winning. The Yankees aren't making the playoffs and he is going to be the fallguy even though their problem is their pitching is terrible.
