easily the worst group this race has seen in years... rick v horse has a big shot
|
Tagg is still considering sending either Elysium Fields or Big Truck in the Arkansas Derby.
|
You know who is a fascinating horse in here... Indian Sun. Has been hanging around all winter/spring and Hendricks is trying everything he knows to get him figured out. Quirky horse... Hendricks says he's lazy and arrogant, tough to ride and to motivate. Seems to have a breakthrough race in him and is bred nicely for a route of ground (Alleged mare)...
|
I'm lazy and arrogant too....and judging by the prospective field there doesn't seem to be any reason I shouldn't enter that race as well.
Out of curiousity Steve, is there any trainerspeak that you don't buy? It's a rhetorical question. |

I also think that King's Silver Son has a tremendous upside on turf, especially distance races. Would be curious to know what Lauren Stich would say. |

If that's the case alot hasn't been explored. |

I would hope that this field of goats would put an end to all of those people clamoring for the Arkansas Derby to be a grade one.

I like Blackberry Road because I have him at 75-1 for the Derby, but I really do think that he will be sent off the favorite in the Arkansas Derby against this field. Who does anyone else feel will be the favorite?

but cool coal man has not been flattered much by the company he kept in the FOY. that race is anything but key at this point. |

yeah, i know elysium got heat stroke. what about the other dozen horses in there? none have done anything since, some didn't do anything before it either. that race is turning out as weak as it was originally timed. a shame too, as i like cool coal man. but i think he's running into a buzzsaw this wknd.

[quote=DaHoss9698]Adriano and Halo Najib came back to run 1-2 in whatever they are calling the big race at Turfway now
good point horsey |
yeah, i read an article that said they regretted running adriano on dirt, since he'd shown such an affinity for the poly.
and hockey, i hope cool coal man does well- i do like the horse. |

This field blows, yeah, but no worse than the Wood, if you take out War Pass. |

I don't mind the weak field, pretty much guarentees that Blackberry Road will be in the Derby gate. First time I've made a future bet, so it is pretty exciting to me regardless if he has much of a chance or not in the Derby.

kohana out, which moves shekinah in.

Advance weather forecast........ Great in Hot Springs, rain and thundrshowers in Lexington. Of course those competitors are on polytrack. Pick 4?
