besides the obvious favorite...here are 4 others I think will perform well this year.
Sean O'Hair - due for a breakout year in the majors..would love to see him play well Andres Romero - Great confidence builder with win in New Orleans. Anyone that makes as many birdies as this kid does is always dangerous. Can draw upon experience in final round of British Open last year. Justin Leanord - has the short game required to get it done..can he close the deal? John Rollins - hits the high ball required...needs to make a few more putts. |
They had an interesting prop bet in Vegas...how many majors Tiger will win this year, 0/1/2/3/4....you had to get the exact #. In other words, if you bet 2, it has to be EXACTLY two, etc. The odds weren't that great for any of the numbers!

Anyone give Martin Kaymer a chance?

Have you been to Augusta Kev? I went to a practice round a few years ago and was amazed at the greens. Television does a good job picking up most of Augusta, but until you see the breaks and elevation changes in person, you can't imagine how hard it would be to putt them. |
THE ODDS ON A TIGER SLAM
Tiger will win . . . Open Today No majors in 2008 3-2 / 8-5 Exactly one major 5-2 / 13-5 Exactly two 11-5 / 12-5 Exactly three 7-1 / 6-1 All four 12-1 / 7-1 Source: Caesars Palace (2/9/08) |

Kev,
Still trying to get an airline tix there. I got tix each round from my brother in law who is Woody Austin caddie. ![]() Hoping Woody doesn't fall in some lake or pond at the Masters this year! ![]() Ron |
Been many times as it's less than 2 hours away. Wednesday's practice round and par 3 tourney is the best day by far. The par 3 is the best sporting event I've ever been to. Too much fun. I remember Orville Moody asking a girl sitting by the green which way the ball would break only to hand the putter to her and have her putt. Many great stories and if you ever get there, that's the day to go.
If you won't be there, me included this year...go to masters.org. Starting Thursday they have live coverage on the net of Amen corner..Most excellent. The entire web site is awesome. Also have driving range all day. Spyder |

Count out Sabbatini out of any chance of winning with his win in the Par 3 tournament.

Well Tiger is done.
