Early Thoughts on Saturday Racing...

I think gulfstream is the place to play, i like a lot of things on the card this saturday. Titan of Industry.... Highest Class......Port Royal.....Featherbed........and Elysium Fields

As for dubai, am i the only one who thinks the world cup came up deep ? i think curlin is a bet against, i wont be betting a lot into duabi, but i will be playing that late pick 3, and curlin wont be on my ticket, possible 5 deep in the world cup...premium tap, well armed, jalil, and a few others.

I forgot about Massive Drama, strange to seem him here ? hes been working nice at gulfstream, why not the florida derby, or go to arkansas which looks to be coming up very very weak. I will make a small bet on Massive Drama, hopefully he can stretch the speed.

Massive Drama was in KY with Romans after the Zayat exodus. I can't see him faring well over that loooooonnngg stretch in Dubai

Coach Pants 03-26-2008 02:52 PM

Why did you have to mush Elysium Fields?

cakes44 03-26-2008 02:58 PM

Good luck on that ticket without Curlin.

I will be back-wheeling Elysium Fields. . . His race record and last race make me think he may be a hanger. . .

I might be reaching for a price but Baroness Thatcher is intriguing in this race. If Shaggy Mane can get the jump on Sugar Swirl and send them both off on a blistering pace..then Baroness has the stamina to close the gap. The question is will she be close enough to get there?

Yeah it's probably a bad angle on my part. 2nd with Mott but I'm ignoring the possibility that she probably was hopped up on venom under Biancone's care.

Yes, I saw his last race. He got to the front, slowed down, and then when he saw another horse to run after sped up again. . . That's a hanger. . .
