KnS next race

I think that we will enter the race on the 22nd going 1 mile for $50000 nw2LT. She is doing well and has only had 2 races since October and the race on the 22nd is ok timingwise. If for some reason we dont get in or they dont use the race, there is a allowance race (NW1x or 2LT) going 1 1/8th the next day that we will enter in.

oilertige 02-11-2008 08:32 PM

Sounds good!

Am liking the race Chuck! Thanks for the update and all the efforts you and company have put into KnS; really is great being part of this. Hope to make it to track at some point and watch with the rest of the DT faithful!

pmacdaddy 02-11-2008 08:44 PM

Sounds great!

Unfortunately for us, we will probably have to wait until another time for a field trip as return flights are rediculously expensive (winter break in NY).

3kings 02-12-2008 05:38 AM

Nice to see she is running back so soon. Unfortunatly I will be in the area from tommorrow till 2/20. Oh well, maybe she'll run between 3/14-3/24 when I'll be in the Tampa area again.

2 Dollar Bill 02-12-2008 07:48 AM

Thanks for the update Chuck. Will this be a turf race ? Glad to see your ""internet"" connections are back !

Bigsmc 02-12-2008 08:59 AM

I'm already taking Friday the 15th and Friday the 29th off from work. I might as well see if I can get fired and take off Friday the 22nd too.

No worries Bigs...I've got a spare bedroom and a pool out back for the girls.

ddthetide 02-12-2008 10:35 AM

how is Sumwon and has she moved to CS's place yet?

ateamstupid 02-12-2008 05:18 PM

Hopefully we don't have to face an allowance horse this time. Freaking Wesley Ward.

which of the two race would you prefer?

57rick 02-18-2008 10:13 AM

although the question isn't directed at me, as a member of the DT partnership, I'm hoping for the 1 1/8. In my humble opinion, the added distance can only help.

All things being relatively equal, you would like to run your horse in the N2L. If she wins, she is still eligible for the N1X.

Conversely, if she runs in the N1X and wins, she is no longer eligible for the N2L.

think i'm with you on the longer race but with the right positioning KNS can handle the mile.

Geesh. Just another day in paradise ..... ;)

HEY y'all - I finally got around to ordering Dee Tee sweatshirts - thanks to Steve for the "can't make it any easier" on the front of the website - and they got here today (already), and they are REALLY nicely made and quite attractive! Wahoo!

Hickory Hill Hoff 02-25-2008 06:17 AM

What looks good next? I would think back on turf in that NL1 50k when it comes around.

Since I will be in Tampa on the 29th I'd love to see her go in this race!!!

Of course, I will defer to whatever is best for KNS

Better change your flight plan to fly home Tuesday night then! That AOC on the 29th not only lets in winners of one other than maiden or claiming and anyone willing to run for a claiming price of $32,000 but is also 5 furlongs.

I figured it would be too good to be true. I couldn't figure out where the length of the race was listed and since turf sprints seem to be all the rage these days it is just my luck that it is a sprint.....
