I can't remember the %,but Hillary got a huge % of the New York Latino vote....You can have your own opinion why this is,but it's a fact that OBAMA is not winning the Latino vote...........OBAMA took 71% of St. Louis' votes(a different type of minority area.)

I'm watching MSNBC for what it is worth. They seem to be pretty fair so far although maybe slightly in the favor of Hillary.

Hillary is winning with old hispanics. An interesting combination of demographics to go after but it has at least got her almost half the delegates tonight. Maybe she'll cry again in the next week or two to assure herself of the sympathetic white women vote.

Here is the way it's breaking down:

Blacks,Young people,upper income types,tree-hugger/computer chip types=OBAMA

old people,Latinos,white women,and to some extent blue collar/union workers=Clinton

White Men (if aren't in the above groups) seem to be breaking up somewhat equally.To some extent the poor(other than the Black poor) seem to favor Hillary somewhat.This is an incredible race.The raw vote was only 100k in favor of Hillary today(11 mil DEMS VOTED.)

i know some hollywood yahoos said they would leave if bush won (a reason to vote for george?!) but they're still here.

While I don't really understand this sentiment, you don't need to worry. She can't win a general election in this country, in part because a lot of people feel like you do. Hillary is the one person who can unify the Republican Party....against her.
I'm a Democrat and a big Obama supporter. In part this is because I think he would be a far better president, but also because he at least has a chance of winning in November. She - on the other hand - would have no chance.

i've seen where obama has been steadily gaining on hilary nationally in the polls...i really think that's true as well, that he could win, and she could not.

Disagree completely. Whoever wins the Dem nom will have unified Democratic support, including the former Obama supporters. But, most importantly, Hillary can get votes from a bloc that Obama likely wouldn't -- namely, Republican women.

But Hilary so disgusts true Repubs who aren't real excited about McCain that they would be motivated to turn out in larger numbers than they might if it was Barack. The answer to who wins the general election may not be who votes, but who doesn't.

True Republicans always turn out in large numbers. The biggest changes occur when those who normally feel themselves disenfranchised think they have shot at effectuating their views. Even if the hard-core Republican Clinton haters turn out in mass droves, the amount of interest in the Democratic race this year will ensure a large Democratic turn out. And there's less haves than have-nots. Plus, Hillary will still pick up many moderate Republican women.

If you remember,people said it in 2004(when the Congress,the Presidency,and the Senate were all controlled by 1 party.)That's what scared people(not just who was President.)There were enough moderates (like McCain) to keep GEEDUBBYA from doing whatever he pleased.If she were to get in, it would be like when her husband was in(except she wouldn't have been for NAFTA.)Wouldn't have to worry about sex scandal with her(could see bubba caught again though..lol.)Let me ask you this: If OBAMA gets the nomination,can he get Georgia(with an incredible Black turn out?) I can't see her getting hardly any southern states(maybe Ark.,or maybe 45% chance of getting Florida.)With massive Black turn-out,he could win some southern states,and Democrats are going to have to do that.

It looks like it's most likely going to be McCain vs. Clinton in the general election. Obama is going to have to step it up. I will be voting for Clinton, which I couldn't have ever believed in my wildest dreams (and some of them are pretty wild:D ).

I have no idea what you are basing that on. The remaining primaries this month greatly favor Obama. They should be close to even in delegates going into the Ohio and Texas primaries in early March. Plus her campaign is completely broke (they are dipping into their personal fortune to the tune of $5 million), while his fundraising remains strong.
She could still win the nomination, but trust me this thing is far from over, and in reality is about a coin toss right now.
