Jennaine Edwards, ESPN Reporter

I had to botch that spelling on her name seriously. She is a class act, knows her stuff and is a pleasure to listen to and watch during this coverage on ESPN.

Hank G could learn alot from this class lady. Why is Hammerin Hank even on TV? He can hardly put together a complete sentence! I cringe when the camera pans to him. I would rather know what the guy wearing a 1970's circa Members Only Jacket with Dingo Boots at the window is betting then what Hammerin Hank likes lmfao.

taoaracing 07-13-2006 06:10 PM

Please No personal opinion attacks against anyone involved in horse racing . You will upset the masses on this message board. For gods sake hammerin hank might just be blackthroatwind. YA never know , even when ya know , ya never know

randallscott35 07-13-2006 06:12 PM

People who work with Hank at ESPN don't even like him. (From their mouth)

taoaracing 07-13-2006 06:14 PM

Again Please refrain from any personal bashing or opinions of anyone remotley involved in the horse racing business . I am warning you . Do not upset the masses at this board they do not take kindly to personal opinions of anybody involved in the horse racing business . Did you say JJ graci or Hank Goldberg?

randallscott35 07-13-2006 06:17 PM

You're funny Tao. Like a clown.

Yet another internet buffoon.

What I did yesterday, in the first time I ever interacted with you here despite your lies to the contrary, and this is something that can easily be substantiated by anyone who takes a look at your posts, was point out your obvious MO which is to belittle others in this game while claiming to work in the game yourself. I just pointed out, correctly apparently as it seems to have struck a nerve, that it smelled of jealousy.

Why you felt compelled to bring that into this thread unnecessarily is anyone's guess. Mine? That you are jealous of BOTH Jeanine's and Hank's success. Sort of goes with the rest of your posts.

2MinsToPost 07-13-2006 06:22 PM

Again let me repeat my opinion

I don't care for Hank Goldberg, not one bit. His television skills are so poor that I have started muting the volume when he speaks. Please, he can not even put together a complete sentence half the time. Give me Randy Moss, Jerry Bailey, Gary Stevens, Kenny Mayne, Thea Andrews, anyone but Hammerin Hank. Maybe he is better at writing?

I am entitled to my opinion and this is not a peronal attack, rather a critical opinion and review of ones ability. If Steve or Ateam deem it not proper, it will be deleted.

J. Edwards is a class act, job very well done thru the whole Barbaro accident, especially today.

Curt

Just as a further point of clarification, the complaint with your behavior yesterday was that you criticized comments by somebody even though you never heard them and had no idea what context they were given in. The other problem was that in disagreeing with what you don't even know the other person said you felt justified in an unfair attack on his racing credentials ( according to you the 4000 races he won was not noteworthy because he earned them in minor league circuits ).

Surely his accomplishments pale in comparison to your impressive resume...one so substantial that you knock anyone and everyone else in the industry. You must be very secure in your vast ouevre of success.

Tao over on the Espn board you got angry because we were saddened by Barbaro's injury and not sad about the harness driver who died. That was my first impression of you(ahole) and you have done little to change it since then.
By the way, check out the investigation at Pompano that has a thread going on here and you will see why people could care less what happens to the cheaters in that other "sport". YOu may as well be doing ringside commentary at a pro wrestling match, harness racing and pro wrestling are about similiar in integrity.

yeah...leaving in the morning for a few days at the beach and then having my surgery on Wed.

taoaracing 07-13-2006 06:43 PM

And again and round and round we go. Once again somebody has to bring up the harness stuff. Well good for you and dont try and tell me that t-breds dont have the same problem please you live a sheltered life. Blackthroat I see absolutley no difference in what I said as to what was just said about Hank Goldberg. But regardless MY opinion was he was a subpar trainer and brings nothing interesting to the table as far as commentary THATS MY OPINION like it or not . I have refrained from the other post and now I come on here and give an OPINION . I DONT NEED TO LISTEN TO HIS SHOW BECAUSE IT WAS ALREADY STATED WHAT HE HAD SAID . Im a Fair individual and just because I have a differing opinion of what the majority thinks here Im still aloud to voice that opinion and if you do not like my opinion you can either disagree silently or say something either way is fine with me .

Im pretty sure somebody was just complaining about a certain churchill downs race? hmmmm

I likes Hank when he's been drinkin'. I hope to see him at the
Summit of Speed/Slop Saturday.

Internet trolls, such as yourself, share many obvious characteristics. One is to twist any and all subjects around while neither admitting error nor answering direct questions.

The problems with your posts about JJ were stated in the previous thread and this one, and you simply ignored those comments as you couldn't effectively answer them, and you are further twisting this thread. The problem here was why you felt compelled to bring me into it in a deceptive manner. But hey, yer an internet troll, thus it's your job.

taoaracing 07-13-2006 06:54 PM

Wow and you sure are very mature now calling me name's . I have not called names i use words like sub par . But go ahead show your major importance in the world of racing as was stated by the person whom stuck up for you the other day. Im sure you are just telling everybody whom you are. This is sad that you must stoop to the level of a 15 yr old child by calling me troll. So be it .

2MinsToPost 07-13-2006 06:54 PM

hope all goes well brotha

Yo...if you are the dude that calls the races at The Meadows...you are the shizzle. That MO FO can make grass growing sound exciting....LOVE that dude.

taoaracing 07-13-2006 06:57 PM

And furthermore . Why shall I admit error of an OPINION of a man . This is not error it's an OPINION. Error would be admitting that you have any relevance in the world of horse racing besides commenting on this board and the espn board. Oh wait maybe your that Quinn guy from the espn broadcasts whom asked lost in the fogs owner how it compared to storming the beaches of normandy and owning a great race horse? Thats probably you now that I think about it more.

Some of those harness race calls give me severe migraine headaches. I dont know whats worse, hearing those calls or hearing Hank Goldberg blabble blabble blabble. You can tell he was out swigging whiskey the night before, his cheeks are always red and he looks like hes about to combust. I cant believe ESPN hires him, they must be hard up for race analysts.

So glad baseball gets better treatment in that department.

Timmy....im telling you man...spend a Wed. night with me at the OTB, in the smoking section, playing Balmoral Park all night....its heaven man....

Gander 07-13-2006 08:25 PM

Kevin- I love your company so it probably would be heaven. Seeing you yell at the TV for some pocket rocket to get it done. That would be great!
If you and I lived remotely close to each other I think my marriage would have as good a shot as the Braves do of catching the Mets.

Yeah ... she's got that undefinable je-ne-sais-quoi ... that charismatic aura ...

... I don't know if it's the hats ... or the outfits ... or the big ... ummm ... the big ... ahhh ... the big teeth ...

... but I'm drawn to her like a fly to paper.

Betsy 07-14-2006 07:18 AM

I don't have a problem with Jan personally, but I have to admit it's annoying when she can't get simple sentences out of her mouth without stumbling........ugh, it's hard to listen to.

Suffolk Shippers 07-14-2006 08:49 AM

Christine Oliveraes on TVG. Enough said. Honestly not sure that is her name. That woman is smokin'.

I was late too Cajun. I PMed him this morning because my email has been down for three to four days now. It is getting a little annoying. If you talk to kev can you tell him to have a great weekend on the beach? Thanks.

Oh and I like Jeanne Edwards. She use to be my favorite. But you all know who my fave announcer is now. :)

slotdirt 07-14-2006 09:20 AM

I met Thea Andrews once....drop dead good looking and really nice to boot. Canadian, too!
