Him and Clemens are the two I most want to see in there. Would be hilarious to see Jeter's name as well. Somehow the fact that his jaw has widened far more than normal aging would allow has slipped under the radar. Guess he's the golden boy and the fact that his slugging percentage in '99 jumped 71 points higher than it has ever been in his career had nothing to do with steroids.

Storm Cadet 12-11-2007 08:03 PM

Roger Clemens for sure...

wouldn't surprise me if one of those 2 were in there.

i only hope thou that for baseballs sake neither A-rod nor clemens is on that list.

dealing with bonds is enuff for baseball and its fans to deal with.

my reasoning is if you love or hate either of them or just the yankees in general. you don't want what could be one of the greatest players of all time and one of the greatest pitchers of all time to have there records tarnished in the name and good of baseball.

still the greatest sport there is i would hate for this to happen to america greatest pastime

Alex Sanchez and his career 6 HR's in 5 seasons. Wait a minute. He already got nailed.

I think so, he has been the incredibly shrinking man since testing was put in place.

Pujols would be another one that would not surprise me.

The Giles Brothers, epecially Brian. I understand Petco isn't a hitters park but thet play 81 games on the road. Went from mid to high 30's to 15Hr's being a power surge.

It could be a long day in the Bronx today.
Andy Pettitte.

But will there be any Red Sox naming?

Clemens has already been leaked...

I'll throw one out there I've got concerns about (a player I actually liked): MIGUEL TEJADA

The year after the steriod investigation his OPS drops precipitously and his health falls apart. Ouch

Scav 12-13-2007 11:26 AM

Just heard on Chicago radio..

Wood, Prior, Nefi Perez, Sheffield, Clemens, Petite, Pujols

No Garciaparra

Crown@club 12-13-2007 11:29 AM

Howard Stern's favorite WNBC reporting:

Brady Anderson, Rick Ankiel, Jeff Bagwell, Barry Bonds, Albert Belle, Ken Caminiti, Mike Cameron, Roger Clemens, Johnny Damon, Troy Glaus, Juan Gonzalez, Eric Gagne, Nomar Garciaparra, Jason Giambi, Jose Guillen, Jay Gibbons, Mark McGwire, Trot Nixon, Andy Pettitte, Mark Prior, Rafael Palmiero, Brian Roberts, John Rocker, Ivan Rodriguez, Sammy Sosa, Gary Sheffield, Miguel Tejada, Jason Varitek and Kerry Wood, among many others.

MLB officials say not 100% accurate

Those in bold would be no real shocker...

Some of the others on there, you could see where using HGH to come back from an injury. I would guess that could be a reason they are named in advance...

WNBC pulled the list, so obviously there were some mistakes...

whodey17 12-13-2007 12:41 PM

Interesting to listen to Steve Phillips (the ex GM for the Mets from 1998-2003 I believe). He just said that he expected at least 4 players on the Mets that was using, but there was nothing he could do about it. There was no penalty at all. Very interesting.
