Nice effort for Style Sunday, close third - out of the gate to pass a big field for good position although outside around the first turn, stuck 3 wide down the backstretch (not a bad path on the Turfway poly), moved up and held on very well! Congrats!

What a good effort by the girl.. Bad break was Lady Limit's bad break. Had she been there to challenge the winner up front, Fearless gets a chance to make her run. You have to be pleased!

Agreed. Hard Spun was very logical in the Derby just as he was very logical in the BCC.

We are not talking about the logic of the outcome just the monumental effort in a losing race...

He was as far from logical as I could find. No way he was good enough to hold up on the front end against the cheap speed. I wound up totally wrong though.

Maybe they will use your quote in Lawyer Ron's stallion ad's! "He may have been cheap speed but he did win the Whitney!!!"
Then the Vinery who stands Stormello can release a counter ad saying, "Why breed your mare to cheap speed like Lawyer Ron for $30000 when you can get to a real cheap speed type for $15000 in Stormello"
