$8,500 for Brahms? shouldn't that be $850? |
Does the breeding arm of the industry realize that in order to have a strong market in which to sell race horses, a race horse industry actually has to exist, and that horses running on an actual race track is sort of integral to that paradigm?

I know a lot of Buddha's have sold at sales and what not, but I don't know if I've ever seen an offspring of Buddha in an actual race.

Stormello was a flat out runner. You have to factor in the connections on that guy. Should throw a few runners before its all said and done. |
For a Stormy Atlantic out of a Carson City mare - he could really carry his speed a long way.
A stallion I would be very interested in would be Day Pass. He was brilliant - and than was shipped to Dubai last winter and naturally ruined. He came back late from Dubai with Discreet Cat this year - but he hasn't even recorded an offical work yet. I can't imagine he will stand for any kind of money - being a cheaply bred horse with less than exceptional looks - and only two lifetime wins...however, he was a monster talent before they finished him off....I have a feeling he could throw a few good horses. |
Stormello's trail of tears
Seemed like a good fit for the Malibu and the Strub series in general imo.
