The turf course looks like you are running in a swamp with tall grass

The horse on the lead taking out the other 2 horses didnt hurt. Not sure if she would have won if that dont happen.

sumitas 10-27-2007 01:20 PM

the only reason they are on the swamp today is becuz of the BC. somebody had to say it.

She would have won, I doubt Kitten stays the whole way because of Desormeaux deciding not to give her the lead.

Sum, thanks captain obvious

Yeah... but it is not like they have to save the course for later in the meet

Cannon Shell 10-27-2007 01:27 PM

I hate to say it and while I certainly would never root for the owner but Talent Search looks like a great play at 18-1.

TitanSooner 10-27-2007 01:33 PM

I liked Commentator until Hank picked him

ummm, take a look at 2nd and 3rd place. there's the bias.

TitanSooner 10-27-2007 01:44 PM

are you on crack?

So now that you are off the Poly bandwagon, because of all the hilariousness at Keeneland, you are the greatest spotter at a BIAS.

It is as simple as this, THERE IS NO BIAS, there are horses that are liking this, and there are horses that are like **** it, I aint running. tracks like this are always kind to front runners, but there is NO bias

Cannon Shell 10-27-2007 01:46 PM

When the speed horses are staggering down the stretch....

sumitas 10-27-2007 01:46 PM

check in on earth...look at the results. few horses can overcome the bias. they stagger to 2nd and 3rd because they went head to head and still held up.

Merlinsky 10-27-2007 01:46 PM

Holy crap that was some acceleration by Midnight Lute. Clearly you can come out of nowhere from the middle of the track and still win here.

Cannon Shell 10-27-2007 01:47 PM

2 horses have won from last on the card. When there is a true bias, no horses overcome it.

sumitas 10-27-2007 01:48 PM

absolutley. but some great ones overcome any bias. i still like HS and LR in the classic cuz of the course.

Because he is not good enough. If you bet on him then there is another 20 lbs on his back.

I'm planning on a modest win wager if he goes over 7-1. It's hard for me to toss him out of the so-called 'contenders' but most everyone has. We'll see who Hank likes.
