I know its redboarding but hear me out...

I made the biggest bet i have ever made on a horse race today in Jibbom $30w$20p and i really dont think i have had a thrill like that in a long time watching that horse come out of turn 4 and just friggin take off. Before the race i was down $116. Man that is why i love horse racing, get kicked in the butt all day and all it takes is one race to turn it all around. We were sitting on the grassy area just after turn 4 and i started running like an idiot yelling and screaming the whole way toward the finish line. Needless to say the people i was with were about to wet there pants from laughing watching me make an idiot out of myself but it was totally worth it. Following horse racing has made me realize how much it is like life. It only takes one race one moment to turn it all around. Thanks for allowing me to post my ramblings.

Hickory Hill Hoff 10-20-2007 09:49 PM

Great hit...always good to hear stories like yours...that's what this game is about.

dylbert 10-20-2007 10:12 PM

Nice hit, wac! I was watching race on Internet. That was some closing kick by winner... Did you buy drinks for everyone in your party? Or did someone video your celebration and post it on YouTube?

2Hot4TV 10-20-2007 10:28 PM

Hell I've been making a fool of myself every race day. People around me know who I bet when they turn for home. It doesn't make a differance if it's 2bucks or 2 hundred dollars, I will be making a fool of myself.

timmgirvan 10-20-2007 10:36 PM

Nice hit,wac! Good for you!:)

ShadowRoll 10-20-2007 10:49 PM

Dont listen to the naysayers. Congrats!

Nothing like a hit like that is there?

I could list a thousand opportunities just like that where i overthought the situation and ended up betting chalk that ended way up the track.

RedBoarding at it's finest.

Mortimer 10-21-2007 12:45 PM

Thank you so much.

DeboEbie was about to make DyAlways blow a head gasket.....so he had to go.

Mortimer 10-21-2007 07:07 PM

I don't know....I think he's lying.

Merely my opinion....let's not anyone have tripletts over this.

dylbert 10-21-2007 10:08 PM

Hey, boys (err, Da Hoss & Mort), funny that you are still cheering DebO comments that have been removed. No one know what you are talking about! NOW, that is FUNNY! :D

What's funnier is your "gems" have been removed as well....which you so auspiciously forgot to mention.

Frankly I think you paid Steve to have yours darted.

HA!

He darts mine for nothing!

dylbert 10-22-2007 12:36 PM

DebO -- the not-so-dearly departed

Mort, it appears that DebO has departed this forum. She is no longer listed as member. Did you "dart" her?

ErnieBert;

I do not have a dart gun..so no.

And ,just for the record, DeboEbie meant HelloStevie in Buckwheatspeak.

Let's get with the program ,sir.

Congrats Wac. I love stories like this. I wish more people would post their winnings and good hearted stories.

I am always the guy running down the stretch cheering on my horse and he/she loses by a nose.

I thought you went all in every race?

Na. Just 50% of the time.

Mortimer 10-22-2007 02:20 PM

That's half the battle.
