nice scorekeeper in NY

How was that a hit???

Storm Cadet 10-07-2007 05:55 PM

The only thing in the boxscore that counts is the final score!

Payson Dave 10-07-2007 05:56 PM

This may be Torre's last game in Pinstripes....personnally I'd hold Cashman more responsible...

No wonder guys set all kind of fielding records nowdays...these errorless streaks are worthless because they never give a guy an error..

I agree with ya there....but if da boss is looking for one fall guy....I think Cashman may be less of an asset

Boss is so out of it he may think Mott is the manager instead of the trainer and fire him...

Cannon Shell 10-07-2007 06:16 PM

HR for AROD???

Cannon Shell 10-07-2007 06:18 PM

Westbrook is freakin meat...

Cannon Shell 10-07-2007 06:20 PM

Mr. Posada has not been very clutch...

The Bid 10-07-2007 06:21 PM

A Rod's new nickname in New York is Mr November

Payson Dave 10-07-2007 06:23 PM

The Yankee offense has picked a real bad time to go comatose

or great time for the dog players...

Payson Dave 10-07-2007 06:33 PM

Pettitte certainly gave them a chance to win the other night....hard to believe they can't score on the Tribe's pitching

Sabathia and Carmona are good pitchers, probably better than any of the Yankee starters. Westbrook is a different story. And Clevelands bullpen is strong with the exception of the closer.

Cannon Shell 10-07-2007 06:35 PM

Craig Sager is actually wearing a "normal" sports jacket?

MaTH716 10-07-2007 06:36 PM

Jesus Christ, what is Tony Gwynn trying to get the role of Re-run in the What's Happining movie. He has to be about a doughnut away from 350. He was never the most athletic looking guy but HolySh*t, maybe the Chargers could use a guard.

Yankee pitching has been suspect all year....and the offense has either been real hot or real cold....IMHO,this series the lack of offense has been a bigger problem than the pitching.

The Bid 10-07-2007 06:57 PM

Tough to hit the best two pitches in the league. Tough to outpitch anyone when the average age of the starting staff is 103

Cannon Shell 10-07-2007 07:25 PM

He gave Cano an error. I guess if your name isn't Jeter you can make an error in Yankee Stadium

Storm Cadet 10-07-2007 07:38 PM

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Cannon Shell 10-07-2007 07:40 PM

Hickory Hill Hoff 10-07-2007 07:42 PM

I liked Damon's "Caveman" look better.

The Bid 10-07-2007 07:46 PM

He may as well have put the Damon shot on a tee. Looked like a homerun Derby pitch.

That was a big 305 ft. HR.

MaTH716 10-07-2007 07:57 PM

Great job by Hughes, here comes Joba

The Bid 10-07-2007 08:05 PM

How many extra runs would he have gotten if he hit it 505 feet Trifecta?

Hickory Hill Hoff 10-07-2007 08:10 PM

Nice fielding by that "Ex" Red Sox!

MaTH716 10-07-2007 08:13 PM

He must have recieved those "how to be a good outfielder" tapes narrated by Manny Rameriez!

Storm Cadet 10-07-2007 08:26 PM

Cannon...your double is singing God Bless America now!
