Pga..texas Open..kev
You think Lickliter can get it together for one week? Should of won this in 2003.Was flying ,and made 1 bad shot. That's kinda his problem though.Likes it here and Tucson. Wagner guy wants to win,but can't make a putt.

No chance. You gotta take it deep at this tourney and other than the -15 he shot for 4 rounds at The Wyndham a few weeks ago...he hasn't sniffed going deep enough to contend. Its a putting contest this week and he just isn't putting well enough for me to have much confidence in him. |

YEAH...unless he turns it around real quick. Hes about $135k behind #125 on the money list right now. |

Harrington is 15-1 to win the Dunhill Links Tournament(which he f'n adores.)Normally I would say he is done for the year(as far as winning goes,) but really he is the best links player in the World.So,15-1 is an o.k. bet.Westwood likes it too,but that guy can't be trusted to do much. |
Lickslikeher is E through 14 today....that ain't gonna get it done.

Jesper with a nice 61. Would love to see him go gate to wire. |

J. Leonard is always tough in his home state. Even though he hasn't been very good this year, I believe he has an excellent record in this event. He's off to a good start.

Nor can the great majority of this weak ass field. |

Lickltr birdied the last 2 to get to -2. If get 80-1 will take him.If get 40-1 on Gamez(-5,) then will take him.
|
Wow,at the moment,4 Swedes ARE LEADING....LOL....JESPER, R. JOHNSON,,F JACOBSON,and CHOPRA.Parnevik at -14 with2 holes to go on Friday.They usually don't come back here.Even though it's been forever since he won.

Hes due....he was my pick early this year as an unexpected winner. |
Go Jesper!
|
Jesper's up 3 for Sunday showdown...hope he pulls it off!
|
Good no bet Scuds. Frank is 76th of 78 players that made the cut.

tied after 6 holes......jesper=12 putts..Leonard 8 putts........Wow ,Leonard 1 bogey in whole tournament?
|
That was weird.Jesper kept driving it all over the place, but he was somehow sticking around.Totally was grinding away.He fought hard, but lost a playoff.Pretty amazing that he even got in a playoff.Just about anybody else (except Tiger) would have come in 3rd or 4th if they were driving it that poorly on the back 9 on Sunday.Maybe Harrington could have grinded it out while driving that poorly.
|
He was horrible but scrambled incredibly well. Must get used to playing like that when you havent won in 6 years
|
At least he secured his card for next year as well. No Q-School
|
Based on their level of talent,I would say that Leonard was way more due to win than J.P... Leonard is good enough to win a couple more majors. His game is perfect for the last major each year(PGA.) He has contended in a couple of those(the ones Singh, and Beem won.) Any of these short track or "easier" tournaments should be easy for him to dominate people in,but the guy doesn't have huge drive. He gets it together for his home state tournament.
