Thanks for posting this delightful article. I'm drinking sweet tea as I read this. :D

GPK 08-10-2007 06:31 AM

I think I was about 12 or 13 before I even realized they made tea that wasn't sweet. Unsweet tea is simply an abomination and it's role in the rapidly declining moral values in this country are obvious.

Agree. Sweet tea wields a way more powerful influence than anyone can imagine. :D

Actually....contrary to popular belief, my monkey face photo does NOT move mountains. But, it has been known to cause women between the ages of 18-45 to develop an extreme case of screaming thigh sweats...

Well they must be whizzing on themselves in stark terror.

Thats about right. If I was a woman, I would be afraid of me. Then again...if I was a woman, I would most likely be a lesbian.

Overestimating you would be like using jello as a safety net.

I don't think that made much sense.

Oh just leave me alone.

If their is some real meaning to this...let me know.....even by pm.

Maybe you were kidding..which is fine, but I want to make sure.

paisjpq 08-10-2007 09:52 PM

I am from the north....even if I live in the psuedo-south....I do not like sweet tea. Simple un-sweetened iced-tea will do just fine thank you.

packerbacker7964 08-10-2007 10:17 PM

Only tea better than sweet tea with lemon is the Long Island Version I tend to like way to much.

Danzig 08-11-2007 06:59 AM

i used to drink sweet tea...but i've pretty much given up sugar. the lipton green and white teas are good, diet of course.

but yes, i've seen southern sweet tea described as the kind in which a spoon can stand straight up in the glass...

I drink the snapple green tea, but only the regular. It doesn't have high fructose corn syrup in it and that's always a positive.
