Forecast is isolated thunderstorms... No way to know if we get an off track at any point.. Turf should have some cut in it though after the storm(s) Wednesday night-Thursday morning...

Note..

Made some structural changes to plays about half hour after publishing..

Actually looking forward to scratches today with this card a Rubic's Cube..

Beautiful day here as of now, barely a cloud in the sky. Took my cerimonial walk on my lawn this AM and was pretty dry.

Thinking it may not be too much of an issue. Guess we will find out for sure later.

Good Luck!

What do you do in the last now? Single Contessa's horse or toss the 7 in there?

Storm Cadet 07-06-2007 11:37 AM

I'm gonna keep the 7 in here even though Turner has been cold 9% this meet:rolleyes:

Scav 07-06-2007 11:46 AM

That first race is brutal...I am almost considering singled that 12 horse, first time blinkers. Might be the first horse to get to the lead with these bunch of plodders

No way I trust that bum. 0-17 says a lot, on top of that her dirt form is mediocre at best. Having Coa on helps but even in her career best effort on dirt (SAR 9/4/06 @ 7F) she was only able to finish a distant 2nd.
This field is so hopeless she may end up winning by default, but I couldn't trust her as a single.

Storm Cadet 07-06-2007 11:56 AM

You sure about blinks on that 12 in the 4th? Mine doesnt show 1st time B? or any Blinks for that matter?

I was playing a $600 ticket but I might just drop $100 into it with the 12 singled

I like Contessa's horse in the 6th quite abit today

Scav,

There isn't a 12 in the 1st race.

My .pdf file shows that the 12 is indeed adding blinkers.

DRF is not indicating as such, let me know if you find out differently.

I'm scared to death of that leg, but i'm hoping to get through with just the 2,6,8,9.

Got two potential singles: the 9 in the 5th, lightly raced Tiznow steps up off a good maiden win to face a field of losers; and Dutrow's horse in the feature won't get beat. The only other that has a chance in there is Shuffling Madness, but City Attraction has too much early pace for that one and should get an easy lead. I loathe the Pletcher in there.

Phil,

I have the DRF pdf file and it says blinkers on for the 12 and it shows the trainers stats for blinkers on which are 0 for 1.

My PDF does not but my Thorograph does, which is where I got it from...

SC, CALL YOUR BOY, SCAV'S SINGLE DEPENDS ON IT

dellinger63 07-06-2007 12:09 PM

with scratches now I'm going with 2,12/9/2,6,7,8/1,5,9/1,5/1,7,12 = $288

for a budget ticket 2,12/9/2,6,7,8/1,5,9/1,5/1 = $48 (what I'll play)

Good Luck

Be at Arl before the 3rd at Belmont and for about the 10th straight Friday we have beautiful weather in Chicago.

Storm Cadet 07-06-2007 12:10 PM

I'll call ya from Belmont live!

Great, thank you- not like it affects my decision because I have to use her even though I'll probably puke when hitting the button.

CapperZeke 07-06-2007 12:12 PM

Here's Dave Litfin's blurb:

CARRS AND STRIPES adds blinkers, after breaking slowest and failing to seriously threaten on "good" turf; two better efforts in May indicate she may prefer firm ground.

Eegads the trainer has made a 131 starts and this is the only second occassion he's putting blinks on for the first time?

Scav 07-06-2007 12:21 PM

I got Coa winning every race, that can't be good.

I might single Rojas in the first now and just pray
