Happy 4th of July everyone .... be safe !!!

Storm Cadet 07-03-2007 09:16 PM

Sleep in a bit...go to my golf course to hit some balls and putting practice...then drive to BELMONT to watch some Derby horses battle it out live with some beers and a good cigar...then back to the house to grill!

Neighbors always put on a big time fireworks show!

Happy 4th of July to all at Derby Trail:D

Well I'm not Ted Bundy.

I'm working on making the noise many hundred dollar bills would make falling to the floor.

I will wish you all a good respite and I know you all will remember those that make this time off and all time possible.

Mow the lawn, hang with my girls (promised them, no ponies today, *can't believe I got suckered into that*), BBQ and a maybe a couple Miller Lites.

Hope everyone has a great day.

ShadowRoll 07-04-2007 08:03 AM

What else? Go to the track.

Happy 4th everyone (even you, Morty -- and put away those firecrackers before you hurt yourself).

jwkniska 07-04-2007 08:20 AM

be at AP... Arlington also has the best fireworks in Chicago on the 4th every year. Best tip to anyone going there, sit in the 2nd level for them, as it's above the treeline so that you get to see not only AP's fireworks, but also all of the surrounding communities. Panoramic firework display that way.
