Tuefelsburg-A LOCK SATURDAY
The one lock of the day on Saturday at Belmont is Teufelsburg. Sanders has him primed and ready to run a new lifetime top and blow away the assembled sophmore sprinters, returning him to prominence on the national stage.
Tuefelsburg- You just can't beat him. |

We need the Seattleallstar's input on the matter before anything conclusive can be derived. |
Stormello, my pick to finish last in the Ky Derby, is who I plan to bet in this race. He actually ran much better than I thought he would in the Derby...and this cut-back will really play to his favor

He can win from off-the-pace at this distance.
Normally I'd be very concerned about any kind of horse making a 3 furlong cut-back....but not this horse. |

Yeah......he's such a superstar! |

you've said it;) |

I really look forward to betting him Saturday.... |

I look forward to him winning and then hearing your story about how and why you didn't bet him. |
Of course I will bet him.....I've even rescheduled my manicure and massage appointments so I can do so.

Unlike most, I feel that Teuflesburg is more suited to 8-9f races than to shorter ones. I think he does his best running on the lead but doesn't have the speed to lead in good sprint races and his best chances for winning are by controlling the pace in the slightly longer races.
|
The only lock on Saturday is Council Member in the True North.

I've been burned more than once by horses who were mistakenly put on the Derby Trail, then dropped back to their better distance in this particular race (aka the Riva Ridge). Especially in the late lamented Pick 6 contest. They often need an easier sprint (n2x, stakes at Mth or Pim) to get them back thinking "Oh, yeah, one turn - I remember how to do that."
|
woooooooooooooooooooooooohooo my boy!
& i do like sports town - for 2nd, 10 lengths back. ;) |

He's going to need to pass 3-4 decent sprinters to win. I don't see it happening. |

Alberado gets my vote for "RIDE OF THE DAY".

I just tore up my Pick 4 Ticket, not gonna mention how much I had invested.
Not happy right now.................. |

No wait...PLEASE DONT BET HIM. |
The man called it
and Miraja has a new has a new signature Who the hell would have thought you would hear Teuflesberg a winner in a graded race???? |

Meanwhile, I threw T'Berg on my pick 4, speed cutting back is one of favorite betting angles. Alive for another 1/2 hr  |

Settling out of the gate stumble, then taking the horse out and cutting bak into the rail showed lots of skill. Nice ride! |
Great call!:D

I mean she figures as a solid trainer
she was what, 3 for 120+ horses she's saddled this year, wins for fun against this bunch someone PM when Imawildandcrazyguy draws off by 20+ to win Belmont, b/c thats pretty much the way the day is going -bt- |
Great call. I just looked at the PP's again and still not sure if I could use him.
