I have managed to come up with 8 horses I think I will toss. These are horses that I feel will NOT hit the board in the Trifecta. Everyone's opinion is appreciated.

I pretty much agree, but am kind of torn on Bwana Bull and Liquidity.

Agree minues great hunter, he might a steppenwolfer.

I agree somewhat with Great Hunter, but the #20 post scares me. I also am reconsidering Dominican.

I've got 9 I think I'd toss - I'd basically take Bwana Bull and Stormello off this list and add Storm in May, Tiago, and Sam P. to it.

Well guys gotta start breaking some of these horses that are alike

Bwana Bull or Sam P Who to throw?
Tiago or Circular Quay Who to throw?

I wouldnt throw Tiago off any ticket.

Does anyone think CQ and TBerg will have trouble with 1 1/4?

I do not think that you have to toss both CQ and Tiago. I think the pace is going to be on the fast side and I see CQ and Tiago as the only stone cold dead closers in the race. So I am inclined to toss someone else on the front end and include the 2 closers. For some reason there is an off track and a huge speed bias then I have to revaluate.

Well I am going on the thought the track will be a mess. It looks like rain all night and tommorrow

I don't think he'll win, but hitting the board may not be out of the question. I'm still tossing him... I like some others a bit more.

Cajungator, What is your feeling with all the bar shoe talk? I like Scat Daddy and it seems the he has flown below the radar all week.

I don't like the bar shoe talk one bit. It hasn't seemed to bother him training though, and I'm hoping his grinder style can carry him home that last furlong. Bar shoes aren't a positive sign, though (although he won't be running in them.)

Reddam says they changed his bit to try and put more pressure on his mouth..apparently when he made the lead he would drop the bit..they are going to try and make him run as even as possible until the last furlong and then make a run..they think he has the staminia...

He is worth a stab at 46 - 1.


I think Flores is a plus over Corey N..Flores can follow instructions..Corey is like Pincay was.
